Emerging Church = apostate church? |
<And the reason Joel fits in the "Emerging Church" crowd is that the
Emerging Church" that so fascinates you is the apostate church Christ
and Paul warned us was coming in the last days>
If anyone truly believes that I am fascinated with the Emerging Church
they have not yet read my article on the movement on my website, nor
have they read my critique of this movement on amazon.com.
But to suggest that the Emerging Church is a apostate church is just
plain wrong.
Word of faith Heretics, OneNess pentecostals, Universalists and others
in the liberal christianity circle are really the Spiritual Terrorists.
Benny Hinn the biggest WOF teacher is the terrorist. Rick Warren, Dan
Kimball, Joel Osteen are not spiritual terrorists for they do not preach
another gospel. They do not teach flat out heresy like a Benny Hinn,
Kenny Kopeland, TD Jakes (denies the trinity), Gloria Kopeland, Creflo
Dollar and such.
Joel Osteen affirms all essential tenants of the faith including the
triune God.

John,
Compare what they teach to what the word of truth says. Compare their
"fruit" to holy spirit and evil spirit. Remember, a counterfeit must
be almost genuine to fool people. When people teach what everybody
wants to "hear" what does that tell you?
