Object: End of the World: Contradiction?
"One generation passes away, and another generation comes;
But the earth abides forever." - Ecclesiastes 1:4
"You who laid the foundations of the earth,
so that it should not be moved forever."
- Psalm 104:5
And yet, the Futurists say that Isaiah 65 & Revelation 21
teach that there will be a physically literal new heaven
and earth. Except for Randy, of course, who, after being
shown the problem, tries to claim that Isaiah is out of
order, which does not solve his problem anyway.
Both Isaiah and Revelation mention the new heaven
and earth and if it's physically literal, then they even
contradict each other, since one says that the child
will die a hundred years old (Is 65:17) and the other
says that there will be no more death (Rev 21:4) on
this supposedly physical new planet Earth.
Not only that, but both would be in direct contradiction
to what Ecclesiastes and the Psalm quoted above say.
Furthermore, on this new planet Earth that is created
after the Bible says that sinners were judged and
thrown into the lake of fire, which Futurists claim
means every sinner, living or dead, both Isaiah and
Revelation (Is 65:17/Rev 22:14-15) have sinners on
this new planet Earth and even right outside the gates,
committing immoral acts, on this very same Earth
that the Futurists claim God is at that point living on!
Now the Futurists can insult me and try to talk their
way out of this, but it is a fact! Read the Scriptures
for yourself and see for yourself!
Oh how the Futurist must dodge and weave, to try
to avoid what the Scriptures actually say! Of course,
there is another option. To understand the phrase,
"heaven and earth" the way that a Jew would have
understood it when he read it and acknowledging
that it wasn't written by 21st century Gentiles,
just to make you happy, but rather, was written
by ancient Jews and would have been understood
properly by Jews.
But that is too much to ask, because it means that
they have to actually admit that they are not the
premier Bible expert of the world! And after all,
didn't they come into usenet, so that they could
pretend to be just that?! You know, what they
can't be in real life. They have invested to much
time and ego into their games of dodge ball,
making things up on the fly, to admit that they're
wrong about this now!
Too bad! So sad! Truth loses out in their hearts! (:
Pray for them. We definitely should.

Hey, "genius:" Ultimately, "earth" in prophecy represents "whole Israel,"
i.e. "and I saw a new heaven and a new earth...and there was no more sea" =
a new reorientation of existence in which the believers are eternally
"within" and the "unbelievers" are eternally without.
Of course, this has nothing to do with all the TEMPORAL things that occur
after now, but before that.
