Did you know that the Bible NEVER mentions the END OF TIME?
It only tells of THE TIME OF THE END... of course meaning
the END of the OLD COVENANT AGE or WORLD.

The Bible speaks of the end of the current age. It also
speaks of eternal life. There will be a time when time *as
we know it* will end, meaning sin for us will come to an
end. I don't believe time will stop ticking for us as long
as we have physical bodies. And I believe we will have
physical bodies forever. So I'm not sure what your point is?

The Bible speaks of the end of the current age.

No stupid, it doesn't. Nowhere does the Bible say,
"In 2007 AD, the Bible speaks of your time.".

Of course both that writer and his followers died long ago, and no
"Lord" did "descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the
archangel and with the trumpet of God". No Lord, no archangels, no
trumpets, only the shouting of ridiculous preachers trying to convince
dumb believers that it is still going to happen any day now. ;-) -- L.

No it doesn't.

"Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up
together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the
air, and so we shall always be with the Lord." (SEE 1
Thessalonians Ch. 4)

Nothing you quoted indicates *when* Paul expected Christ to
return. When the author refers to "we" he is not specifying
himself or his own generation. It is a reference to the
Church in general. Paul already knew that Christians were
not to be concerned about the "times and seasons set by the
Lord alone." Luke had stated this, and he had been Paul's
companion. (Incidently, Paul made it clear in his letters
that he expected to die--and not be "alive to remain and be
caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air!)
This is what Luke wrote...
Acts 1:7 He said to them, "It is not for you to know times
or seasons which the Father has fixed by his own authority.

===>Irrelevant what the fictional "Luke" may have written.
You are mixing together two totally different writers'
statements, while having no proof there ever was a "Paul", let alone
that the author of LUKE was his "companion".
But even if he was, the statement in 1 Thess. stands for itself
and it does not mean what you are trying to twist it into, LIAR! -- L.

It is perfectly acceptable to use "we" in reference to the
entire Church of the current age. It is, for example,
perfectly acceptable to say, "We Americans will have to
confront many trials and conflicts. We will have to face the
problems of old age. We will have to reexamine our beliefs
in centuries to come, when our beliefs no longer seem
applicable." In this case, "we" does not mean me personally.
It refers to the group with whom I'm associated, ie
Americans in general.

It is a reference to the

Church in general.

===>That is pure NONSENSE.

See above. On the contrary, it is perfectly natural,
perfectly acceptable. It would, for example, be perfectly
acceptable for Paul to say, "We Christians will one day have
to face the Antichrist, and may have to reexamine our
beliefs after centuries of testing by modernistic methods of
examining truth." This can be abbreviated to say, "We will
one day have to face Antichrist and the modern world." Paul
would not be indicating that *he himself* would be the one
having to face Antichrist and the modern world!

Hi Vera. More stupid antics?

You're the one who tried to pull a Glenn, by claiming that
since you didn't "say" the exact words "the destruction of
Jerusalem fulfilled the prophecy that Christ would save all
Israel", that means you didn't "claim" it. You DO claim it
when you "claim" the destruction of Jerusalem was the
culmination of Christ's return, in perfect contradiction to
Romans 11:26.

Satan lies again.
Matthew 5:18
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one
tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Matthew 12:32
And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be
forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be
forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
The first have become last, and "this world/age" is the church age, which
ends with His coming and the salvation of His gospel-elect church.
The end of "this world" begins "the world to come" when His
enemy-of-the-gospel elect are returned to Israel: "Behold, O my people, I
will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and
bring you into the land of Israel" (Ezek 37:12). That world ends at the
judgment and the new heaven and earth: "And whosoever was not found written
in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. And I saw a new heaven
and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away;
and there was no more sea (Rev. 20:15-21:1).
