I had given up eschatological study after reading
Revelation Unveiled and that goofy fictional series
called "Left Behind".
And this is the truth that I have been saying all along

Yes, many "futurists" are simple Christians who accept
verbatum what their preacher tells them. So what? They
rightly feel that eschatology is way down the scale in
importance next to such doctrines as Jesus' divine love and
love between Christians.
And I'm not picking on you personally, Feather.
This is simply true of Futurists and yet, they
claim that they do study their Bible regarding
this subject. Sad. (:
So you group all Futurists together in association with the
"Left Behind" eschatology? Sad!

ROTFL!!!!! There are also a lot who follow the scriptural account, even
though their pastors have been deceived.
You are the stupid one. If you had followed His advice: " Seek ye the Lord
while he may be found" (Is 55:6), you could have prayed for His help in
restraining your vanity, you could have searched the scriptures with His
discernment, and believed Him too. No, you deemed yourself wiser than God,
and have nothing "But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery
indignation, which shall devour the adversaries" (Heb 10:27).

You don't know. Y'all didn't seek the Lord whoile He could be found and all
you have to expect is "a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery
indignation, which shall devour the adversaries" (Heb 10:27).
You should have read the book before joy riding your manure spreader online

This is simply true of Futurists and yet, they

I as new believer, studied my Bible, and saw everthing
through the Authentic Dispy specs that had been issued
to me by the Plymouth Brethren fellowship where I was
when I was born-again! However I also started feeling
growing pains almost immediately! I look back, and see
the Holy Spirit drawing me to Himself, as He led me to
read books from teachers who He had established in the
Church!
One particular one that I remember the most, was George
Eldon Ladd, in his book, "The Blessed Hope". I learned
that Dispy Premillennialism was not the only game in
town! Ladd is a historical Pre-millennialist, who does
not accept the Darby Dispensational idea of the Church
parenthesis, followed by the 7 year tribulation! His
ideas are far from Preterist, but the Dispys still
refer to his book, as "The Blasted Hope!" Seems that
Dispys have little patience with anyone who strays from
their flock!
I think my main point, is that God still raises up
teachers by the Holy Spirit, who are given some insight
in to certain matters, and God uses that insight to
teach His Church! I do not say that all teachers, or
all that any teach is all of God, but that God can
still use them, and what they write to communicate His
lessons in Discipleship, even as He uses our limited
understanding in amazing ways!

You believe that Elohim is one. You do well. The demons also believe

belief without the works is dead? Was not Ab raham our father
declared right by works when he offered Yitsh aq his son on the altar?
Do you see that the belief was working with his works, and by the
works the belief was perfected? And the Scripture was filled which
says, "Ab raham believed Elohim, and it was reckoned to him for
righteousness." And he was called, "Elohim's friend." You see, then,
that a man is declared right by works, and not by belief alone. In
the same way, was not Rah ab the ***** also declared right by works
when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? For
as the body without the spirit is dead, so also the belief is dead
without the works.
