Extraordinary claims |
Extraordinary claims, require extraordinary proof, (real proof).
Anything like magic, healing powers, foreseeing the future, raising the dead
and other seemingly impossible powers, need to be verified by some really
substantial evidence or most of the sane-thinking human world will laugh at
those things as quack salesmen gimmicks.
It's as simple as that.
There are those people who are mentally diminished and very susceptible to
those kind of claims.
The Christian parasites make a living off those vulnerable individuals and
it should be a crime.
Instead, the government allows those parasites to prey on the helpless and
ignorant while supporting the parasites with tax exemption.
At best, they might help some people and at worst, they take peoples money
and rape their children.

REPLY: Sir, Please dont fool yourself and us, by implying youre
interested in evidence for the Christian Faith including ressurrection, et
al... If you were, you wouldnt be a willful Atheist. Instead youd be a
Seeker with an open enough mind to at least consider the historical evidence
that abounds. If you ever reach the point of becoming a real sincere Seeker
of evidence...

Proof is a tricky if not impossible task.
It's impossible to prove a lie is truth.
Truth is the only thing that can be known as true.
A belief could be a truth or a lie.
To have faith that a belief is truth does not itself make the belief true.
Believing by faith, with your fingers crossed, is most peoples fate.

Today, beliefs have people reacting rather than thinking, analyzing,
exploring, etc. Thus if a new truth is exposed to such people, they
will reject it in an immediately reaction if it does not agree with
their beliefs.
A belief is not directly connected to a truth, thus it remains as a
belief. A gap is therefore present between a belief and a truth. The
belief is therefore incomplete. A belief may point you toward a truth,
but you still have to move from your current belief position to get to
that truth, to make direct contact with that truth.
And so even if you expose someone to a truth concerning whatever, they
will reject it since that truth sits beyond the limits of the beliefs,
beyond that gap. Thus the truth is beyond belief.
