FALSE PROPHETS LIE ABOUT WHAT THE WORD OF GOD SAYS (3.)
A preacher of the false doctrine of "pre-trib rapture" said, "I believe
the church will not go through the Tribulation ... because the return of
Christ for the church could happen at any time (John 14:2-3; Acts 1:11;
1 Cor. 15:51-52; Phil. 3:20; Col. 3:4; 1 Thess. 1:10; 1 Tim. 6:14; James
5:8; 2 Pet. 3:3-4).
When someone quotes scripture to prove a statement I ALWAYS (if I don't
know that scripture says) examine the scripture to see if it does say
what they infer it says, or if it does support their statement.
The statement these scripture were quoted to prove was "the return of
Christ for the church could happen at any time."
Our Question is: Do the quoted scriptures say this, or do any of these
scriptures support that statement?
1 Cor. 15:51-52
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the
kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall
all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the
trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we
shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must
put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this
mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the
saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

1 Cor. 15:51-52 does not say "the Lord could return at anytime," nor
does it support that statement.
CONCLUSION
In his statement (top) the false prophet of the "rapture" said "the Lord
could return at any time," and he then quoted a list of scriptures which
either say what he claims, or supports his claim. Significantly, not one
of the scripture quoted by Randy said what he claimed, or supports his
statement.
When someone Quotes scripture to support their statement, I ALWAYS
examine that Scripture.
"And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto
Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. These
were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the
word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily,
whether those things were so. Acts 17:10-11
Those who love Truth search for it, those who don't, don't.

When someone quotes scripture to prove a statement
I ALWAYS (if I don't know that scripture says) examine
the scripture to see if it does say what they infer it says,
or if it does support their statement.

So in other words, you previously claimed that if it is not
quoted directly from the Bible, word for word, that it is
a false teaching. But now, since you have been shown
where your beliefs are wrong, directly from the Bible,
now it's time to claim that even if it's in the Bible, that
means that is isn't Biblical.
Here's the reality...
You just said that they "QUOTE SCRIPTURE".
Then you claim that even if they are doing that, that they're
merely "INFERRING" that it's in the Bible.
If they are quoting Scripture, they are not inferring a thing.
You think people don't notice your little word games,
but we do and we know that you're dishonest!

The statement these scripture were quoted to prove
was "the return of Christ for the church could happen
at any time."

And it could have. But the problem is, that both
of you treat the NT as if it were written just the
day before you two opened it. Now if you took
the time to read it as it was written, instead of
pretending as you do, that time froze and no one
read the Bible until you did, then you might get
somewhere in understanding it.
When the Nt says "now", it means "now, from the
point in time that it was written", not, "now, but
please first pretend that the last 2,000 years weren't
really time passing by".

The Bible is the inerrant word of the living God!
If you don't believe the Bible, don't tell me that
you are a Christian. I won't believe you. To make
that claim, is to be a heretic who does not know God.
