"fast track" method to salvation |
Suppose salvation could be achieved in 3/4 of the time
when associated with brief, mild 25 volt electric shocks.
Would you attempt this on a subject even if light torture
normally went against your sense of ethics? It is, after all,
for the subject's greater good, and the discomfort will be over
within seconds.
Would you hesitate to apply 50 volts if it afforded a salvation
in 1/2 of the time?
How high would you be willing to go? (Don't worry, it's
not the voltage that kills, but rather, the amperage.)

I don't know what the radius would be (probably some value times i)
Mount Everest's SR is about 1 nanometer. Divide Everest's mass
by the mass of the fundy in question.
Are you allowed to have that many zeros to the right of the decimal
point?
Use scientific notation. Point is can you squeeze them into such
a minute region that they completely blink out of existance?
But the secretary only knows shorthand....

Probably be easier to toss 'em into a singularity.

a minute region that they completely blink out of existance?
Probably be easier to toss 'em into a singularity.
Cyg X-1 is what, 8,000 ly distant? How about Jupiter's
GRS? That's only 5 AU.
Good idea. And all the gas will hide them.
A bit cold, though, at -300 F.
Summertime weather.
Dress them warmly.
Naked. 'God' will provide.
Jupiter smells like an open sewer. Hope "god" will provide
enough Air Wick.
It's all for a greater good....
I only hope the end justifies the means, risking contamination
of a gas giant with millions of sheep.
Are you referring to Australia?
Wasn't that where Hitler was born?
Yeah, in Woolloomooloo, mate.
Right next to Napoleon.
Born in a pastry shop, probably in a manger.
The wonder of it all...

At what voltage?
144kv. Straight from a cross-country feeder. Just insulate the
tower, not the feeder.
Do atheists have such power?
If any atheists work for the power transmission company, yes.
Hope the Christians don't shift the transmission into reverse!
I'm ap-pawled.
Motorizing generators draws attention.
"I got my mogen working, but it just don't work on you
I got my mogen working, but it just don't work on you
Feel so wound up, just don't know what to do
Going down to Louisiana, get me a mogen hand
Going down to Louisiana, to get me a mogen hand
Gonna have them pretty women, [get them in the] palm of my hand"
(Sincere apologies to the probably late Preston Foster.)
I'm not familiar with the gents work.
His famous blues song: "Got my mojo working", was popularised by Muddy
Waters (1957), amongst many (including the B.B. King et. el.)
Ah. I also hear Fiji's about to erupt in savagery.
Being an anarchist myself, I think they are doing a great job!
Population self-reduction......
Are you perhaps referring to Tonga?
