fire, Revelations, and global warming? |
Curious thing, this global warming. According to the geological record
of this planet, the estimated mean peak global temperatures in the past
have been 12 degrees Celsius higher than now. This is enough to bake
large areas of land, pushing temperatures up to 120 - 140 degrees
Fahrenheit and in many more places than now and creating large areas of
unlivable desert.
Rather interesting in the light of Revelations, which speaks of the
lake of fire.
Of course, there are those that say that there is no such thing as
global warming. Scientifically, the evidence points towards global
warming. It just doesn't point to a cause.

It seems to be warming on two levels:
1) The "big picture" climatological upswing into a warmer epoch.
2) The added contribution of very man-made 'accelerants' into our thin
atmosphere.
The mass extinction of mankind could depend on quality and disease on
the plant and virus level... where breeding grounds for such increase,
and start connecting at wierd tangents. Theyve been here longer than us
by about several billion years.
