What I am writing is my opinion based on my experiences.
I write this because there will be increasingly hard times ahead all of us
until ego is purged from this world. Ego is a construct made by us and was
not created by God. In varying degrees each relate to ego as being one's
self. This is a defense ego uses to stay in existence. Fear is the ego's
best weapon. Ego will fade as one changes one's mind away from supporting
attributes of ego.
Before I start in, I want to clarify spirit as I relate to the word. Spirit,
for me, are those "persons" not recognized by ego, that are God's helpers
that help and guide me through my life. I was told by a spirit not to have
expectation as to how a spirit must appear in order to be valid, rather, pay
attention to the message.
Example one: I wanted to understand love. One day a "voice" appeared saying
"I am Christ." Because it seemed in my head that I thought I was Christ.
However, as he approached the "voice" became louder and helped me to
straighten out my thinking so I could observe the message. The message was
in the form of an experience. I was walking on my course through life with
many others. I noticed some moved faster than other without interfering with
each other as they went on the separate path through life. Along the way I
notice a female moving in the opposite direction starting to stumble, then
crawl and finally collapse from exhaustion. I was guided to take her hand
and help her to her feet then, turn her around and help her start walking.
After a few steps, she gain enough strength to walk by herself at which
point I let go of her and continued on my own path.
