Forgiveness of sin without Christ... Roman Catholic Indulgences |
the RC Catechism states :
"An indulgence is a remission before God of the temporal punishment
due to sins whose guilt has already been forgiven, which the faithful
Christian who is duly disposed gains under certain prescribed
conditions through the action of the Church which, as the minister of
redemption, dispenses and applies with authority the treasury of the
satisfactions of Christ and the saints."
"An indulgence is partial or plenary according as it removes either
part or all of the temporal punishment due to sin." Indulgences may be
applied to the living or the dead.
"To acquire a plenary indulgence it is necessary to perform the work
to which the indulgence is attached and to fulfill the following three
conditions:
1.sacramental confession,
2.eucharistic Communion, and
3.prayer for the intention of the Sovereign Pontiff... which is to
recite one ' Our Father ' and one ' Hail Mary '.
conclusion : who needs Jesus Christ when all one has to do is these 3
things to be clean before God ?
the blood of Christ is not sufficient in and of itself to cleanse from
sin... which means, of course, that God is not Omnipotent... Christ
failed at Calvary.
the whole meaning of the Judaic-Christian religion as preserved in
Holy Scripture is null and void in light of the dogma stated above.
there is no redemption possible except through the Catholic Church.
salvation is by ' works ' and not by faith and performed only by the
Catholic Church and only for a faithful Catholic.

Christ gave us these 3 things. It's scriptural.

Nope, that's the Jewish way.

This helps generate income, that alone justifies its use. It is also a
great Residual income and downline scheme which also justifies its use.
Some say it is abused, that cant be true, one cannot abuse something if
it helps raise the bottom line.
