Gay marriage CRUSHED |
Eleven states had initiatives on the ballots declaring marriage as
being a union between "a man and a woman". Eleven states approved
these by landslide proportions. Gay marriage is dead in the water, as
it should be. Decency has once again prevailed.

Basically, gay marriage has no impact on those who are straight.
If that is true, then why are so many heterosexuals
arguing against it?
Because we live in a country populated by halfwits who are scared to
death of the boogy man, and run by a government controlled by
"neo-conservatives" who do everything they can to keep the population
scared out of its collective wits?
It makes those who are gay happy.
Then why is the rate of promiscuity among homosexual
couples so much greater than heterosexual couples?
Because heterosexual couples don't have to deal with "families" that
try to break up their relationship, as some gay couples have to? Or
they are just men and men in general are more promiscuous than women?
Or even (gasp) that they admit it, unlike straight men who know that
there is no wrath like that of a woman scorned. Or that you just
made it all up?
I am straight, and my boyfriend lives with a friend of his who is gay.
Sometimes it gets annoying being around the "gay community"
constantly, however my boyfriend and I feel as though as long as the
gays dont bring their lifestyle into our lives then we have no reason
to complain.
gays do not impact straight people's lives at all.
No, it doesn't at all. When those Gay Pride Parades
come around, with men dressing in drag and some barely
dressing at all, the eyes of heterosexuals see a nice
grassy hill and a stream. And when they try to force
their lifestyle into the workplace, all we see is
chocolate ice cream. And when employers force
heterosexuals to go through "sensitivity training", all
we see is the latest action movie. We don't really see
anything that has anything to do with gays.

Oh, of course. It's easy to avoid it when it's on the

drive around and if you aren't aware it's going on and

I guess that's why 145,000 or so *heterosexuals* have showed up ay Houston's
annual event the last three years. Go ahead and whine because people are
having a 1½-mile long block party, and you're left to find something else to

Oh pulease; and even when it does go ahead, why are so offended? I have
to put up with wall-to-wall Christian marches all throughout the bloody
year, from carrying the cross on Good Friday, to idiots trying to
"reclaim Christmas from the multi-nationals".
If you don't like the view, close the windows, don't like the sound,
put some ear plugs in, or put up the volume on the television. No one
forces you to either take part of watch these "festivities".
Sure, they aren't my "bag baby", but I most certainly am not going to
go around and claiming that because I don't like something, I have the
right to close these things down.

Oh please. If a gay pride parade offends you, then what about San
Francisco's Bay to Breakers race? That event features a few runners
who treat it as a real race, and hundreds of thousands more who see
who can be the most outrageous. Some people do the race completely
nude. I heard that one guy (or was it a girl?) shaved off all his
pubic hair, wrote "No Bush" where the hair would go, and did the race
completely starkers. And don't assume he wasn't straight. Oh, and
the race is several miles long through city streets. The police simply
make a polite request that people put their clothes back on when they

I've yet to see a gay person force his lifestyle into the workspace,
unless you think wearing earings counts (but straight guys wear those
too.) As to "sensitivity training," that's typically a course for
managers and it is really about managing people in a multicultural
setting. You know, don't walk into your staff meeting wearing a
"Shiva Sucks" tee shirt when half of the people on your staff are
Hindus.

grassy hill and a stream. And when they try to force
their lifestyle into the workplace, all we see is
chocolate ice cream. And when employers force
heterosexuals to go through "sensitivity training", all
we see is the latest action movie. We don't really see
anything that has anything to do with gays.
The police simply
make a polite request that people put their clothes back on when they
finish.
And is it any wonder that this happens in San
Francisco, which is known for what?
I've yet to see a gay person force his lifestyle into the workspace,
A guy who worked where I previously did, used to come
in with a penis key chain hanging off his belt loop.
Yes, they do force their lifestyle on heterosexuals.

Yes, they do force their lifestyle on heterosexuals.
And yet you still don't provide any examples of people being forced to
be homosexual, of people being beaten to death for being heterosexual,
or people legally prevented from being heterosexual.
You're just a twisted, hate-filled pervert.

San Francisco is known for liberal politics, a lack of hangups

Well, the "Pastor" is in the Tampa area, so let's see: the I-275 crossing of
Lower Tampa Bay has only been knocked down by marine traffic twice in the last
twenty years (fortunately, I-75 was extended down the mainland side of the bay
after the first tragedy), its next-door neighbors in Clearwater get to be the
headquarters of the "Church" *spit* of Scientology, they've got the best
cigars you'll find this side of Cuba...and the Stanley Cup will be staying
there until such time as the NHL returns to work, assuming it's around
whenever the labor troubles are settled.

He's managed to attract someone who's supposedly impersonating him...but to be
truthful, there's not much difference between him and his fan club. That's
the perspective from this third-party observer.

Sounds a bit like Houston, except that the last tropical storm system that
produced hurricane winds around here was Alicia...back in 1983. (Of course,
the tropical storms have done more damage from their incredible rainfalls --
Allison in 2001 being the latest, after 1979's Claudette (which produced 43"
of rainfall in 24 hours at the NWS station at Alvin, about 20 miles SSE of
downtown).

"The" gay center????
Some people in New York City might disagree with you. So would some
people in West Hollywood. And any local will tell you that San
Francisco is a real hotbed of heterosexuality. It's just that a lot
of straight guys in the city are cool and don't care if some other
guy is gay. Why should they care? A gay guy is one less guy competing
for that hot chick across the table. Unlike fundamentalist Christians,
straight San Franciscans have their heads screwed on right. :-)
BTW, SF really is known for its liberal politics. In the last race for
mayor, the Republican candidate got under 10,000 votes and in the last
presidential election, Bush got about 15% of the vote. It wouldn't
surprise me if a good chunk of that 15% was due to senior citizens who
needed new eyeglasses and had trouble reading the ballot. :-)

Um... Sunshine and cops that don't overreact?
I've yet to see a gay person force his lifestyle into the workspace,
A guy who worked where I previously did, used to come
in with a penis key chain hanging off his belt loop.
So? A lot of girls I know would do the same thing. Hell, a lot of
straight guys would do that, just for laughs. In fact, I (a straight
guy) would probably do that if it weren't for the fact that I would
get slapped with a sexual harrasment suit by a coworker.
Yes, they do force their lifestyle on heterosexuals.
How is a penis keychain "forcing their lifestyle on heterosexuals"?
It's not like he was forcing anyone to watch him use it as a sex toy
or anything like that.
And if he was, there is a far greater problem than him being
homosexual.

I am straight, and my boyfriend lives with a friend of his who is
gay. Sometimes it gets annoying being around the "gay community"
constantly, however my boyfriend and I feel as though as long as
the gays dont bring their lifestyle into our lives then we have no
reason to complain. gays do not impact straight people's lives at
all.
No, it doesn't at all. When those Gay Pride Parades
come around, with men dressing in drag and some barely
dressing at all, the eyes of heterosexuals see a nice
grassy hill and a stream. And when they try to force
their lifestyle into the workplace, all we see is
chocolate ice cream. And when employers force
heterosexuals to go through "sensitivity training", all
we see is the latest action movie. We don't really see
anything that has anything to do with gays.
The police simply
make a polite request that people put their clothes back on when they
finish.
And is it any wonder that this happens in San
Francisco, which is known for what? Sourdough!!!
I've yet to see a gay person force his lifestyle into the workspace,
A guy who worked where I previously did, used to come
in with a penis key chain hanging off his belt loop.
Kinda of nice.
What? and you requested whether you could give his key chain a test run
for the day?

Notice ME folks, this is all about ME.
