GENESIS vs. ONTOLOGY
Religions, ever since the Egyptian, Sumerian
and Persian priests, have been fixated on GENESIS,
seeking a "beginning" and a "creator",
while science, ever since Heraclitus and
the Hellenists, has had ONTOLOGY,
seeking to understand "being",
i.e. existence, Nature, the Cosmos --
which is found to be, as Heraclitus so correctly
observed some 26 centuries ago, a constant evolution,
an ongoing process of change and becoming. -- L.
