"Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and
the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all
that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine;
thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as
head above all" (1 Chronicles 29:11).
"Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise
thy glorious name" (1 Chronicles 29:13).
"Blessed be thy glorious name, which is exalted above
all blessing and praise. Thou, even thou, art LORD
alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens,
with all their host, the earth, and all things that
are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and
thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven
worshippeth thee" (Nehemiah 9:5-6).
"O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all
the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens"
(Psalms 8:1).
"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the
firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day
uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth
knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where
their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out
through all the earth, and their words to the end of
the world" (Psalms 19:1-4).
"O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory
into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek
after leasing?" (Psalms 4:2).
"Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give
unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD
the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and
come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of
holiness" (1 Chronicles 16:28-29).
