GIVING AID TO VICTIMS OF WAR |
When Giving Aid To Victims Of War, Who Are You Supporting?
In the real world -- as opposed to the fairytale world some liberals
seem to populate -- either side, or all of the participants, of a war
may be wronged, or one side may NOT be wronged. The definition of
"wronged" is needed.
The defeat of the perpetrators of a wrongful war is not wrong. Defeating
Hitler was not wrong, nor was the suffering of the citizens of the
nation he ruled. To suffer the consequences of wrong conduct is not "to
be wronged," it is justice.
Those who support an illegal government, or those who support an evil or
criminal government and act as its agents in the commission of a Wrong,
do not suffer "wrong" when they are defeated. The consequence (defeat)
of a wrongful war is justice -- and to say it is not is sophistry, the
delusion of liberal thinkers who occupy a dream world.
We have the possibility, if not the certainty, that one side of a war is
wrong, and the other side is innocent of wrong -- and hopefully the
innocent defeats the wrong. Both sides suffer; but it is the innocent
who are wronged, and the wrong who receive the just consequence of their
wrongful act of war.
Now someone will cry, whimper and whine about "the innocent" of even the
"wrong side" in the war. Yes, but the harm to their innocent is their
own responsibility -- and if they are concerned about the welfare of
their innocent then they should not wage war. I will not accept guilt to
relieve the guilty of their burden of guilt.
My personal thoughts are that I will not give aid of any form, kind or
description to the enemy. (This is, in point of fact, a criminal act
according to US law.) In fact, anything you give "to aid the innocent"
of the side that wage wrongful war, like rice or milk or penicillin or a
hammer or a plow, will give comfort, aid and support to those who wage
that wrongful war.
In any war, the defeat of the enemy must include the source of the
enemies’ men and weapons, as well as food and other supplies of war.
Those who do not understand war should not wage war. Those who will not
wage war with every weapon at their disposal can not defeat their enemy,
and will certainly (as Vietnam demonstrated) be defeated.
Hamas, and other terrorist organizations and governments, are in fact
the enemy of God, and thus the enemy of God's People, and thus my enemy.
If you are concerned for the victims of Hamas own people, then by
helping to defeat Hamas you will help their people.

EXCELLENT POST; On this we fully agree, (See my post on Viet Nam, I forgot
the title, but it was about picking up 'boat people' after the war; the post
of which I speak is found in alt.bible, alt.christnet, alt.christnet.bible)
Many Libbers (Peace Nics) try to claim that the war in Iraq has 'nothing to
do with 911'. They are totally wrong, 911 was an act of terrorism, and the
War On Terrorism, is against both the Terrorists (not just they who were
directly involved in 911) and their supporters... And such they(the Peace
Nics) try to ignor, Saddam's government (not merely some civilians in Iraq)
sent money to help families who lost loved ones *love ones who blow
themselves up*(Hamas) due to terrorist acts against Israel !!!!
The war in Iraq is *JUST*, and must be fought until the mission is
*completed*
