There are many religions and spiritual systems and philosophies in
this world. The goal of all of them is to come to God in some way. And
that's the really unique thing in christian faith. Human beings don't
have to try their best to come to God, but God came to us! He came in
the person of Jesus Christ down to our level and died for our Sins.
Where else can you find that? In his grace God decided to provide a
way to be reconciled with him.

God knows that no human can come to him by own work or achievements
because to God we are all sinners. So the only thing we deserve is to
perish. But the love of God was greater. He offers a way for
forgiveness to everyone. This way is Jesus Christ. Completely innocent
he died on the cross. So he took all our sins. But do we get this free
gift automatically? No, the key is the faith. Faith means to trust
Jesus and to ask for forgiveness and to ask Jesus to be the Lord of
the own life. This decision is the most important we can make. It will
lead us to eternal life together with our Saviour.
