Object: God's hit rate
God has only managed to create one good being ever. Christ.
All the others either had no free will like the angels, or were bad like the
devil and humans.
His hit rate has so far been rather lousy, and as yet he hasn't been able to
rectify the problem.
We hope he some day gets the hang of making intelligent beings.

Well, Jesus is God become man, and who never sinned. The rest of us have
sinned.

I don't think you've answered the question.
Why is it that he could only create one good being?

Easy - he wants us to choose him out of our love for him. See A&E.

You still haven't answered the question.
Why can't God create beings that can pass any test and stay good?
You seem to be stuck on this petty 'choose me or my enemy' thing.
Do you really think that creation is all about just discipline, obedience
and control like some sort of military operation?
Why are you reducing God to a petty disciplinarian?

I never said he couldn't. You are the one implying he couldn't. I explained
the answer above.

You seem to be stuck on this petty 'choose me or my enemy' thing.

Does this mean that you simply can't agree with God's reasoning's? If God had
wanted a perfect human being, he could have done it. If his will was otherwise,
and I believe it was based on the biblical statements and facts, then we are
what we are - an entity prone to sin but also one that is called to recognize
this shortcoming, to desire to change it, it do so (repent), and to pray that
God grants us the mercy he offered to us.

Do you really think that creation is all about just discipline, obedience
and control like some sort of military operation?

Salvation, yes, but as far as creation is concerned, that I don't know.
But a military operation it isn't because military are trained to obey. God
calls us to respond to him with love by loving one another.

Why are you reducing God to a petty disciplinarian?

John 13:34 (New International Version)
34"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must
love one another.

I never said he couldn't. You are the one implying he couldn't. I

I didn't say that you said he couldn't, I'm simply asking why the Christian
version of God is such a hopeless creator.

You seem to be stuck on this petty 'choose me or my enemy' thing.

Does this mean that you simply can't agree with God's reasoning's?

No. Its just the Christian version of God's reasoning that I find untenable.

If God had
wanted a perfect human being, he could have done it. If his will was
otherwise,
and I believe it was based on the biblical statements and facts, then we
are
what we are - an entity prone to sin but also one that is called to
recognize
this shortcoming, to desire to change it, it do so (repent), and to pray
that
God grants us the mercy he offered to us.

From the Christian point of view it seems all we can do is try to minimise
the sad effects of God's incompetence.
Why do you suffice with such a small, petty and irresponsible God as the
Bible God character?
Why are you so sheepish?
Don't you ever question anything?
Of course I forgot. Your Bible God character has outlawed questioning.

Do you really think that creation is all about just discipline, obedience
and control like some sort of military operation?

Salvation, yes, but as far as creation is concerned, that I don't know.

I know you don't know. You've never studied spirituality or metaphysics.
That much is obvious.
But if you don't know then you shouldn't be making sweeping pious claims
about what humanity has to choose or else.

But a military operation it isn't because military are trained to obey.
God
calls us to respond to him with love by loving one another.

So you don't believe in strict obedience like the rest of the Christian
community?

Why are you reducing God to a petty disciplinarian?

John 13:34 (New International Version)
34"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you
must
love one another.

Have you ever considered the possibility that in the original translation it
wasn't a commandment but a piece of spiritual advice.
Your previous answer suggests so.
It is inevitable that over time, fear and passive ego of humans will turn
divine advice into legalistic commandments.
'Commandments' and threats of damnation for a start contradict and thwart
free will.
