I thank all participants on Growing Deeper. :-)
There have been more than 7,100 visitors from all over the world
by now on Growing Deeper (formerly ACC-Growing-Deeper), starting
in October 2003. :-)
Please help us to tell the world about our wonderful Saviour
Jesus Christ. Send material to post there, please. You can have
a special area for yourself on that website, where you can post
pictures, too, and testimonies and such things, or you can send me material I could post anonymously, provided it gives proof
of Jesus being Lord, as referred to in the Bible which is God's
Holy Word.
This can be shown in many ways... Just use your fantasy! There
are enough fields on the website to be filled up...
Let us spread the Gospel into the last hidden computer in the
world!!! Come on, there is so much to do. :-) I need your help!

Usenet has the tendency to provide a public forum for those who would
normally be scribbling in a closet. For example, take Daryl "Shawn"
Kabatoff. For the last few years, he's methodically gathered
"statistics" from various sources, ranging from local newspaper
obituary pages to the food court of the Saskatoon Midtown Plaza mall.
With all the raw data he's collected, he's attempting to prove daily
that our full names are in "mathematical harmony" with our birthdays.
His rants normally focus on a single individual he's met or read
about, starting with calculations related to their birthdate and full
names, blending in whatever other personal information about their
family members, spouses, birthplace, and career he's been able to
glean. From there, it descends into a mix of numerology, religious
zealotry, and personal torment. I've never seen anything like it.
With all the prime numbers, Fibonacci sequences and biblical
references, it's like reading the notebooks of Maximillian Cohen and
John Nash combined. Unsurprisingly, several posts unfold to reveal a
history of painful mental illness. If you have some time, take a look.

scarier still is that saskatoon is my hometown, though not my current
residence. and every single place he's mentioned in his posts (most
notably nervous harold's and the roastary) were either places i've
been (as it's a small city of 200K) or hangouts, ie. the two places
mentioned. chances are i could email some friends back home and find
out if they know of him, they (my friends that is) being of the
broadway-centred slacker ilk. myself, too, until i got out of there.
eh, anyways. thought it odd to see all this. midtown mall. i ate my
meals there, whilst waiting several days in line for star wars episode
one, at the theatre across the street.

Fascinating. It's like he's trying to take chaos and bind it into
whatever rules he can find, religious, logical and otherwise. Numbers
and math have a reliable pattern, something that can always be proven
to true or false. People and religion do not. It reminds me of Darren
Aronofsky's movie Pi. It's the story of an paraniod genius who is
trying to find a pattern in Pi. A group that takes interest in his
work is convinced that the existence of Pi, a number whose existence
can be proven but no quantified, is proof of the existence of God.
Kabatoff's hunt for patterns in something as random as name selection
is a way to reconcile his deeply logical thought process with his
conflicting religious views.

Exactly. I probably shouldn't have, but I e-mailed Daryl yesterday,
asking him if he'd be willing to create a numerological analysis for
me. I also asked him if he had seen either Pi or A Beautiful Mind, and
what he thought of them. If he replies, I'll be sure to post it.

Shawn once went to a funeral for a Jehovah Witness that shot himself
and the lemon tarts were very bad, they were not only sour but were
rubbery as well. Shawn said that the guy was some kind of Jehovah
Witness prophet, he saw in advance that the lemon tarts at his funeral
were to be very very bad, and so he shot himself. Shawn said that he
never ate pumpkin pie at a funeral but would like to some day. Shawn
likes pumpkin pie and so I have been practicing to make very good
pumpkin pies.

Oh... I almost forgot... I didnt spend thousands of dollars a day

Mr. Kabatoff attempts to portray himself as a victim, but in fact he
is a violent predatory pedophile who is well known to his local law
enforcement. In his post to multiple newsgroups with the subject
"Collecting Mail For The Coming Anti-Christ", he encourages mothers to
send him photos of their naked daughters. Mr Kabatoff explains, "I
personally did not want photographs being mailed to (the coming
Ant-Christ) that were of underage children unless the parent was
signing consent." He is banned from virtually all the shopping malls
in his community because he stalks young people and sexually harasses
them. He has an extensive arrest record which includes sexual
molestation charges. He's been hospitalized in mental institutions
several times because he likes to accost "nubile cuties." He writes
about his contact with young girls in many posts. Search newsgroup
archives for posts by him containing the word "nubile". As part of his
harrassment, he provides personal details in a public forum, such as
the real names of real children, in these and other posts. About one
girl he met at a mall, he writes, "I wanted Callie in my bed or I
wanted her and her sister dead."

folks ARE problems. Don't dismiss Mr. Kabatoff as a harmless nut. When
he sends these posts to any newgroup, please help by reporting him to

I knew of him when I was attending the University of Saskatchewan.
He'd hang out in the Arts computer lab and all you'd see is screens of
numbers racing by on his laptop. I have an original copy of his
"Collecting Mail for the Coming Anti-Christ" pamphlet, and have seen
him be hauled away by campus security on more than one occasion. My
friends and I refer to him as "Crazy Number Man".

I've been posting to (and about) Shawn for over two years with big
gaps in between. He has seen Pi and didn't like it and didn't think it
resembled him at all. (Wrong, it fits him to a tee) He doesn't have
total recall and has stated that he travels with a lap top to notate
items. Also, he uses "cut n' paste" a lot if you read all the way
through his ramblings. He is anti-social as shown by his angry
statements towards those who, by his own admission, have been kind
(but not kind enough) to him. Still, he's intelligent and seems to be
able to "take a joke" on occassion. That's where I came in.

as yourself.
I don't have just one day of rest, I have seven days of rest. Jesus is
my rest. I submit to you, is it better to have one day of rest or a

It happened on ACC!

Griz and his cult had a good thing going. They were making progress in
recruiting members, and the group was growing, they were making progress
toward fulfilling the "Vision." Then problems started to mount. DMPP
would not quit. M&BT arrived and brought the situation to a critical
level. Then CULL arrived, and new members were asking questions.

A new "recruit" suddenly declined membership in the gang, and began to
question Griz. A second person demanded Griz's accountability. Then
others began questioning the "leadership." Griz could not prove himself
innocent, and every effort lead to defeat or embarrassment.

The leadership team met to discuss options. It was decided to fake the
departure of two or three members to win sympathy from a few of the
weaker/non-participating members of the Cult. This brought in some new
solders. This 'fake retreat' also gave ammunition to hurl at those who
did not approve of the Cult's methods. Still, the rebellion against Griz
and his Cult did not abate.

The leadership met and agreed to "surrender" to the demands of their
"attackers." A false surrender was arranged. Then, on January 8, 2004,
when Griz had "retreated from the field," all the gang members attacked
those who thought "they" had won freedom from Griz's dictatorship. The
most visible target was OWD. He had just posted two articles, "Control"
and "Context," which Griz could not answer. All the "Building Crew"
attacked AD HOMINEM! The Building Crew also attacked their old enemies
and reopened all the old wounds.

Then Vera began to attack acting like DMPP and M&BT: Attack, attack, but
reply to none. The Building Crew, of course, protected her: "Leave her
alone, she is hurt and angry, she'll work it out in a couple of days."
Then Vera posts, "No, I'm not angry... I'm exercising my freedom." For
most of the day, there was all this freedom, filled with rampant anger,
freedom used as an opportunity to vent anger and hate.

This Conspiracy by Griz, Vera and the "Building Crew" was two sided:
First, revenge--we will attack them just as they have attacked us, and
prove that freedom makes it impossible to manage the NG. Second, make
them beg Griz to return.

However, this "change" in (or surrender of) leadership was also
something else: "shift of focus." It took everyone's eyes off the
accusations Griz could not disprove. Still, if Griz was wrong before the
"change," then even if he is no longer Leader/moderator of ACC, Griz is
still wrong. There has been no admission of his error; there has been no
statement that he will change his conduct or method. Clearly, Griz and
the Building Crew intend to use the same method of operation "until" or
"unless" there is a statement otherwise. In fact, this is proved by
their conduct in the hours immediately after, and the days since, "the
change."

That phony surrender has been repeated. Griz has (it is claimed)
retreated to Christnet.Christianlife, yahoo.groups and Vera's private
web site. Yet he continues as leader of the "Building Crew" (who now
wishes to be known as "The Fellowship").

Various members of the Griz Cult have faked retreats from ACC, only to
return in a few days and again begin their personal attacks using the
same methods used between Dec. 30, 2003 and Jan. 31, 2004. Various
members of the Cult have assumed false names or identities, or assumed a
NIC to act as a sock puppet and reenter ACC to wage war for the Gang.

These methods of war practiced by the Cult include:

A) False accusations and Ad Hominem attack. A member attacks, then other
members of the Cult Gang Bang (aka "dog pile")the victim. While the
Soldiers attack their victim, the "lovers" begin to preach "peace,
Peace!" And, "Why can't you just let it go?" The casual observer will
notice, however, that this loving request for peace is not made to the
soldiers of the Cult, but to their victim. Of course, as long as the
victim continues to defend him/her self they are guilty of the sin of
stubbornly refusing to end the argument.

B) The use of Slander. One member of the Gang will take something from
the victim's past (this may be a confessed fault, a medical diagnosis or
any perceived weakness) which can be used wrongfully for the purpose of
Slander. Other members will then chime in and say, "Oh, I knew there was
something wrong with [name]." The victim is now left with the option of
attempting to defend their self against slander, or allow the slander to
stand. If the victim attempts to defend, the soldiers will (as above)
gang bang the victim.

C.) When asked to supply evidence for accusations, the gang will refuse
a request for proof; and indeed one member replied, "I don't have to..."
The gang then continues their attack on the victim even though they have
refused to give evidence, since the accusation is proven by the fact
that they made it and the victim denied it.

D.) In the event that one of the Gang is caught in a lie (false
accusation is a lie), and the victim of the lie submits evidence of the
lie, the gang's soldiers will attack saying, "you have judged [name]."
Or, "This is not correction, it is Condemnation." Or, "This is nothing
but "Focus Shifting" to take our eyes off of Jesus." Or, "You are
exhibiting the sin of "the spirit of invalidation of Witness." However,
in no way will the lie, as made by the false accuser, be acknowledged or
an apology offered. In fact, should the affair be forgotten, the gang
will renew their attack on their intended victim.

E.) Gang fights are always about "we" and "you" The members of the Griz
Cult, both acknowledged and secret, will always take the side of the
Cult and defend from, or attack, those who oppose the lies, false
accusations and Gang Bang tactics of the Cult members. The members of
the Cult make it clear that protection of the Cult is more important
than the Truth of God's Word, or unity among Christians.

Please note that the most recent examples of these methods of Gang
Warfare have continued unabated since about January 8, 2004, and can in
fact be shown in practice by this witness back to October 2003. Some
witnesses testify that these tactics have been used by Griz and his Cult
for about 2 years. While the members of the Cult continue to follow
Griz, any visitor, reader or lurker, or poster in
alt.christnet.christianlife, christnet.christianlife, the Cult's home
page or their "group" in yahoo.groups should expect to see this Cult
continue its methods of gang warfare.

Many readers and posters do not know who is this Usenet Character "Vera Six"
A.K.A. Vera 666 who has started to post now on alt.christnet.evangelical.
Vera Six is one of the Cult leaders who created what they consider to be a
"Church" on a Usenet Public Unmoderated Forum alt.christnet.christianlife.
The concept to turn a Christian Newsgroup into a "Church" was originally
developed and experimented by Mr. Craig or "Griz" a poster from Canada. Griz
claimed that he received a Revelation from God to take control of a
Christian Usenet Newsgroup and transform it into a Church. Two years ago
Griz selected "alt.christnet.christianlife" an unmoderated forum which has
been in service for over a decade and started an innovative Newsgroup based
Church. The indivual known as Vera 666 and other members of Griz's Newsgroup
based Church were very hostile with all posters who refused to yield to the
authority of Griz on the functioning forum. Posters were continually asked
to leave by Griz and Vera 666 on the pretense that they were the Owners, and
Moderators of "alt.christnet.christianlife". To ascertain their "ownership"
of that public unmoderated newsgroup, Griz the Cult Leader presented the
statistic that there were only 5 posts per day prior to the coming of his
"Fellowship" and ACC (alt.christnet.christianlife) was an abandoned, dying
forum. There is no need to mention that Griz's Newsgroup based Church
received a great deal of opposition on ACC, so the followers of Griz are
presently looking for another Cyberspace location for worship. Since the
first week of January, Griz and several of his devoted followers have joined
"christnet.christianlife" not to be mistaken with
"alt.christnet.christianlife". Unfornunately all the cult Leaders are
unhappy with this Newsgroup CC (christnet.christianlife), since it is a
moderated forum recruiting new followers is extremely slow.
Alt.christnet.evangelical has been elected as a new testing ground for this
strange Usenet Cult.
