The Teenager's Guide To The Awesome God (The Guide)
The Teenager's Guide To The Awesome God is a document
based on the teachings of the Holy Bible. The Holy
Bible is a collection of books which claim to be the
word of the one and only God. This one and only God
claims to be the sole creator, owner, and sustainer
of all things; He further claims to hold the one and
only key to life eternal: Are these claims true? You
decide. 'The Guide' answers such simple questions as:
* What is the purpose of life?
* What is God's plan for mankind?
* When and how will the world end?
'The Guide' is written in plain and simple language
which should be readily understood by literate teenagers.
Here is an excerpt from 'The Guide':
Freedom And Covenant: Each man is free to do as he
pleases. There is only one circumstance under which
a man's freedoms are restricted: When he chooses to
obtain life eternal as prescribed by the LORD God,
he is obligated to live the remainder of his life in
accordance with the Standard which leads to life: The
Ten Commandments.
The Message: The message of God is simple: "I set
before you life and death. Choose life that you may
live. Life comes through the keeping of the Ten
Commandments. He who keeps the Ten Commandments shall
inherit life eternal; he who refuses to keep the Ten
Commandments earns death eternal: for the wages of
sin is death; and sin is the transgression of the
commandments."
History Lesson: History reveals that every weapon
man has invented, he has subsequently used on himself.
Man currently possesses the technology to destroy all
flesh from off the face of the earth -- and it's only
a matter of time before he uses it. If a Higher
Power does not exist, man's fate is sealed in self-
annihilation; if God does exist, He will intervene in
the affairs of man, and prevent him from destroying
His creation.

My Opinion: This document contains my opinions on the word
of God; this document should not be used as a substitute for
the Holy Bible. No one will be judged by the word of man;
all will be judged by the word of God. Therefore, know and
keep the word of God if you desire life eternal.

The vast majority of humans desire nothing beyond the grave,
as is evident by their ungodly lifestyle; there are some,
however, who desire (spiritual) life after death. The
former should refrain from reading this document; the
latter, however, are encouraged to continue reading.
Moreover, there are two types of human mindsets:
Spiritually-minded and carnally-minded. The spiritual-
minded comprehend all things, both spiritual and physical;
the carnal-minded comprehend only the physical. Since this
document deals mostly with spiritual matters, it will serve
only to frustrate the carnal-minded.
Intention: The purpose of this document is to introduce
teenagers to the LORD God -- the sole creator, owner, and
sustainer of all things; His nature and His plan for
mankind. The revelation of God comes through His word.
The word of God is His greatest gift to mankind. The word
of God reveals the character of God; once you comprehend
the character of God, you will know all the things which
God has apportioned for you to know.
The Message: The message of God is simple: "I set before
you life and death. Choose life that you may live. Life
comes through the keeping of the Ten Commandments. He who
keeps the Ten Commandments shall inherit life eternal; he
who refuses to keep the Ten Commandments earns death
eternal: for the wages of sin is death; and sin is the
transgression of the commandments."
