Object: Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I am thankful that the county as usual delivered and the agency was
able to provide turkeys to all.... including many of the poor. One
eatery donated time and people and equipment for cooking of a turkey
for anyone who didn't have the means to cook it. Others donated entire
cooked meals with all the trimmings.
One of the men working on the road in front of the agency walked up to
the back door with a big white plastic bag. He handed it to one of us
(we were out enjoying the sunshine) and said it was a turkey for
someone who needed it. Turned around and left. We had to shout thanks
to him.

In another post I lamented the fact that I was ashamed to be a member of the
human race. (Meaning I didn't want to be associated with humans who could
treat a fellow human being; a 'neighbor', the way the 'Christians' out here
have, and *continue* to treat an individual who simply refuses to share
their belief in the absurd -- or cow-tow to a morally reprehensible creature
who 'rules' the area as if it were his own, personal fiefdom.)
Now I read this. It makes you want to cry.

*hug* Greywolf. I am fortunate in where I live in some ways. The
community gives - and doesn't ask what faith one has.... or doesn't
have. And they do it year round for our agency. Few ask for an income
tax receipt - though I suspect they don't make enough to itemize. That
doesn't matter... the donations are anonymous once we have them and
that is fine with the community. Religious or non or none, they give
from their hearts with no expectation of recognition or applause.

As for the unbelievers here, you can be thankful that you still have
time to repent of your ways and turn to the Truth. If any of you is
interested in receiving salvation then please visit this page.

Unbelievers? That's me! So I went to your page, and this is the frist
thing I found:
1. Realize there is no one that is good
[Ro 3:10] As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one;
The bible states that no one on earth is righteous or perfect. We all
have faults, we all are in sin, and all need to repent."
Okay, so if there is no one that is good, why should I trust YOU?
Personally, I know a lot of good people. That is one miserable
philosophy you've got there.
