Consider the phrase "has eternal life." "Has" is present tense
possession. Eternal or everlasting means without ending. Thus, one
who "has eternal life" has life that will not end, at that moment
(otherwise, it would be "will have eternal life"). Where do we find
this phrase...
John 3:36
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that
believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth
on him.
John 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth
on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into
condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
John 6:47
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath
everlasting life.
John 6:54
Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I
will raise him up at the last day.
1 John 3:15
Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no
murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
1 John 5:11
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and
this life is in his Son.
1 John 5:13
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the
Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may
believe on the name of the Son of God.
So, again, how can one HAVE life that will not end and then lose life
that will not end? If it ended, they never had Eternal Life, right?
So, anyone that "has" (possesses) ETERNAL life, cannot lose it, right?
Scripture is quite clear on this. It's up to you to accept or reject
God's Word.

Still waiting. Are you a sinner? Do you have sin? Also, consider
that if you claim that your sin no longer exists, it contradicts your
claim that it's the end of the matter that counts, not the moment.

OK, let's deal with this on Ken's level:

"I know you are, but what am I."

"I know you are, but what am I."

"I know you are, but what am I."

"I know you are, but what am I."

I AM a sinner, saved by the blood of Christ. I've said that many
times, so your statement seems ignorance on your part. However, you
still haven't answered the question. Are you a sinner? Do you have
sin?

Ike's inability to deal with the present, does not portend well for his
ability or willingness to trully deal with the Future! Of course if
you are successful at forestalling the future always until some future
date, then you will never have to deal with the future when it becomes
the present! I wonder how long he can keep this shell game going?
There have always been con games, but Ike has succeded in conning
himself! Now that is a major "Italian Job!"

LOL
You don't even know what the future is, false gatekeeper.

Of course if
you are successful at forestalling the future always until some future
date, then you will never have to deal with the future when it becomes
the present!

LOL
"That which has been is now, and that which is to be has already become, and
God requires that which is past." [Ecc 3:15]
Dealing with the present IS dealing with the future, yet dealing with the
future IS dealing with the past, yet dealing with the past IS dealing with
the present.

I wonder how long he can keep this shell game going?

Eternally.
It's Jesus' "shell game."

There have always been con games, but Ike has succeded in conning
himself! Now that is a major "Italian Job!"

LOL
You're the "con," false "gatekeeper."

Ike, are you saved by the will of man?
Was your faith a gift of God?
Do you trust in the blood to save you, or an action you can take?
Is Jesus your Lord, even when you find His words reveal fault in you?
Did you earn your salvation?
Are you a sinnner?

The questions themselves don't have any merit.

That's how clueless you are.

The questions are taken from Scripture. Thus, you say Scripture has no
merit. Also, if you think it is without merit to admit you are a
sinner, I can say conclusively at this point, you are not saved.

I have tried to refer to Ike as a Brother in Christ, but I found that
he rejects the basic tenents of the Faith, as you have ask him here! I
also have come to the point of seriously questioning his Salvation!
Apparently Ike has also come to the same conclusion, which is why
instead of living with the Assurance of Salvation, he chooses to live
with a certain fear and trepedation of Death, and the Judgement to
Come! I will continue to pray for Ike that he would turn to the Lord,
and follow Him!

I have tried to refer to Ike as a Brother in Christ, but I found that
he rejects the basic tenents of the Faith, as you have ask him here!

LOL
1) You have to be a brother in Christ before you can refer to one as a
brother in Christ.
2) I don't reject the "basic tenets of the faith," but I DO reject the basic
tenets of your lop-sided cultic theology.

I
also have come to the point of seriously questioning his Salvation!

LOL
This from the fraud who declares himself the "gatekeeper" when he doesn't
even know what the parameters are for getting in the gate himself.

Apparently Ike has also come to the same conclusion, which is why
instead of living with the Assurance of Salvation, he chooses to live
with a certain fear and trepedation of Death, and the Judgement to
Come!

LOL
1) The people declaring their "eternal security" have nothing in which to be
"secure."
2) The people "working out their salvation with fear and trembling," walking
circumspectively, who DON'T declare how "saved" they are, knowing that one
can fall, are the one's who have the "internal security."
3) This is yet another paradox of the Bible you don't perceive because you
only cultically read half (if that) of the Bible at a time.

I will continue to pray for Ike that he would turn to the Lord,
and follow Him!

Save it for yourself--you need it more than I do.
