His Righteousness |
Those who place all of their trust
for salvation in Jesus Christ
receive his righteousness
because they receive him.
First, having his righteousness
imputed to them, reckoned as theirs,
they are justified in the sight of God
and have eternal life in Christ.
Second, because his righteousness
is in them, they are sanctified,
changed from glory to glory
into his likeness in holiness.
Third, being changed in
the presence of Christ at his coming,
they are glorified in him,
to be like him, spotless.
Whoever claims to be in Christ
must walk in love as Jesus walks.
