*IF* you knew you had only 2 weeks left on earth...
how would you spend them?
That's a question that could be more relevant now than
ever before in history, because it might be realistic, for
Christian believers.
(NON-Christians -- no sweat! You can probably figure
on having a good chance of being around for up to another
7 years or more, unless you're unlucky enough to kick the
bucket from some other, unexpected reason.)
Kids and teens seem to have this attitude that they're
immortal. They expect to leave at least a normal lifespan,
and perceive 70-90 years to go to be almost as good as "it'll
never get here, or if it does, it's 'WAY too far in the future
to worry about."
The Rapture is CLEARLY alluded to in several places
in the Bible. Revelation is in chronological order, and the
Church (i.e., actual Christians on earth) doesn't appear
after Chapter 4.
(It absolutely AMAZES me the way some in here WHINE
-- *vehemently!* -- that there's no such thing as the Rapture.
What do they have to lose by considering the possibility that
there MAY be? Are they living in denial? And if so -- WHY?
What's the point?)
NO prophecy remains that HAS to be fulfilled before the
Rapture. However, the likely scenario is that it probably
will occur VERY close to the moment that the Tribulation
Period begins. And the Bible makes it clear that THAT will
be triggered by the signing of a Peace Pact that guarantees
safety to Israel for a period of ** 7 years **!
THIS cease-fire (to go into effect tonight) isn't it, since
no time frame for its duration is specified. But the NEXT step --
a more permanent agreement -- could very WELL be **IT**.
And THAT one could be signed in just mere days and
weeks -- triggering the End Times... Rapture, Anti-Christ,
Mark of the Beast, Tribulation, and all.
So we MAY only have two weeks or so left on earth.
IF so -- how would you use them, IF you could know that
for sure...?

"It is human life. We are blown upon the world; we float
buoyantly upon the summer air a little while, complacently
showing off our grace of form and our dainty iridescent

However I chose to. My life belongs to me. Neither you nor anyone
else has a say in the matter.
If you think you do, you are a bigot.
God gave us all Free Will. Fundamentalist psuedo-Christians want
us to believe that all that means is that we have the right to
choose between believing what they believe, or not, but that is a
naive and self-serving interpretation of the concept.
There is no freedom if one is limited to only two choices. To
be free is to be able to pick between the infinity of choices
available, and this would be the freedom given by God. Real
freedom.
Only two choices would be 'freedom' according to someone who
wants to control your mind and your life.
Real freedom involves being free from the ideological coercion of
such people. To be able to tell them to mind their own business
and run their own lives. Or to just evade and ignore them.
You can't put any limits on freedom, or it isn't freedom.
(I call the fundamentalists 'psuedo-Christians, because while
they claim to follow Jesus, they ignore almost everything He
taught.)
Note: If you don't have the integrity to post under a single,
unique alias, then what you post isn't worth reading and I won't
even download your articles. Yes, I can tell.

Who is Alan Connor?
Alan Connor is the inventor and implementor of the final ultimate
solution to the spam problem, and everyone who dares claim otherwise
is a spammer.
That is basically the gist of the messages Alan sometimes spews into NANAE.
Alan Connor is appearently also trolling on many other newsgroups.
So what is he raving about?
In reality, Alan's system is known as a challenge-response or C/R system;
it auto-answers incoming email with a challenge and only lets the email
through if it receives a valid response. There are several problems with
this concept, but Alan doesn't want to hear them. In addition,
Alan's system isn't even a very good implementation of the C/R concept,
as it fails to address the chicken-egg problem that is inherent to C/R:
What if your C/R system sends a challenge to an email address that is
also protected by a C/R system? Because of this, Alan and Timo Salmi,
another C/R advocate, are unable to email eachother. So basically Alan's
system is a broken implementation of a flawed concept.
