Object: Judgment Day
The Day of Judgment for those who reject Him and His Word is yet to come,
as we find in various Scriptures such as 2nd Peter 3;
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the
heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the
water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water,
perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word
are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and
perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing,
that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as
one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count
slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should
perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord
will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away
with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the
earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then
that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye
to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto
the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be
dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we,
according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein
dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such
things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and
blameless.
Let us look at what Jesus said with regard to judgment at the time of His
ministry, and that regarding the "Last Day".
Judgment has been entrusted to the Son (John 5:22-23, Matthew 25:31-34,41)
For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the
Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He
that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with
him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall
be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a
shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on
his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto
them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom
prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Then shall he say also
unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting
fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Look at the contrast between His ministry on earth, and how the judgment
will be wrought on the "last day" (John 12:47-50);
And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came
not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and
receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have
spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of
myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I
should say, and what I should speak.
Clearly this judgment is based upon repentance of the living - those who
turn to Him and His Word. The Day of Judgment - The Last Day;
Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were
done, because they repented not: Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee,
Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done
in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and
ashes. But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at
the day of judgment, than for you. And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted
unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which
have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained
until this day. But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the
land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee. Matthew 11:20-24
God warned Noah of the coming judgment and the means by which he would be
saved. Noah responded in faith, believing the Word of the Lord, and obeying
the means by which his salvation would be wrought.
How is your "ark" progressing, or is your response in faith to His Word
swayed by the mocking and disdain of the ungodly unbelievers - those who
will receive the wrath of His judgment?

The Day of Judgment for those who reject Him and
His Word is yet to come

The Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his
mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on
them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel
of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with
everlasting destruction from the presence of the
Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall
come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired
in all them that believe.
Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his
saints, to execute judgment upon all, and to convince
all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly
deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all
their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken
against him.
I have cut off the nations: their towers are
desolate; I made their streets waste, that none
passeth by: their cities are destroyed, so that there
is no man, that there is none inhabitant. I said,
Surely thou wilt fear me, thou wilt receive
instruction; so their dwelling should not be cut off,
howsoever I punished them: but they rose early, and
corrupted all their doings. Therefore wait ye upon
me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to
the prey: for my determination is to gather the
nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour
upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger:
for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of
my jealousy. For then will I turn to the people a
pure language, that they may all call upon the name
of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.

Didn't JESUS say "Now is the judgement* of this
world"?

(*Greek krisis, here it can mean accusation, as in
2 Peter 2:11 and Jude 9, for krisis as in execution
of temporal punishment upon the world or as in
execution of the eternal punishment didn't occur
then, but awaits the second coming)
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse;
and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and
True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make
war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his
head were many crowns; and he had a name written,
that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed
with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is
called The Word of God. And the armies which were in
heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in
fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth
goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the
nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron:
and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and
wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and
on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD
OF LORDS. And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and
he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls
that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather
yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of
captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh
of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the
flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and
great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the
earth, and their armies, gathered together to make
war against him that sat on the horse, and against
his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the
false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with
which he deceived them that had received the mark of
the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These
both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with
brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword
of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded
out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with
their flesh.
If that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth
his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants
and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be
drunken; The lord of that servant will come in a
day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when
he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will
appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. And
that servant, which knew his lord's will, and
prepared not himself, neither did according to his
will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that
knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes,
shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever
much is given, of him shall be much required: and to
whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the
more. I (Jesus) am come to send fire on the earth;
and what will I, if it be already kindled?
Verily, verily, I (Jesus) say unto you, He that
heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me,
hath everlasting life, and shall not come into
condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming,
and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of
the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For
as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given
to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given

that have done good, unto the resurrection of life;
and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection
of damnation.

Hi "Read the Bible", I like your name. BIBLE! is written on my right
thigh...long story.
Judgement began with "the prince of this world" Jesus said. And
Judgement of this world certainly began with Jerusalem who was to blame
for the blood of all the prophets, from A-Z, Abel to Zecharias, even
the blood of Jesus fell upon her. In her was found the blood of all the
prophets. (You want scripture?)
And concerning the great book of symbolism called the Revelation. Lets
start on page one:
Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to
shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he
sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
Notice how The Revelation begins: "to shew unto his servants things
which must shortly come to pass"..
To show unto... whom ? His servants, his disciples, servants like unto
John, those who knew him.
The things that must... what ? "shortly come to pass"
Rev 1:2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of
Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of
this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the
time is at hand.
Notice it reads "for the time is at hand."
These are hard to ignore knowing that it was not written yesterday.
Revelation is presented in a symbolic manner that speaks of things that
were and were shortly to come, that is what the Bible says. It is a
hard pill to swallow, and im not saying im right or your wrong, but
that we must, I must hear the words of the LORD, everyone.
Maybe judgement began then and continues now. Maybe Christ calls from
the grave, thats why every eye shall see him and every knee bow. Maybe
he comes like a thief in the night, stealing away and plucking up souls
from the dark grave.
Maybe I am wrong. Either way, he comes.

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse;

Title: Re: Judgment Day 15 Nov 2005 03:39:45 AM

Judgement of this world certainly began with
Jerusalem

(The temporal judgment that will occur at the second
coming and during the millennium has not yet occurred)
Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those
nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And
his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of
Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and
the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof
toward the east and toward the west, and there shall
be a very great valley; and half of the mountain
shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward
the south. And ye shall flee to the valley of the
mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall
reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled
from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah
king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and
all the saints with thee. And it shall come to pass
in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor
dark: But it shall be one day which shall be known to
the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to
pass, that at evening time it shall be light. And it
shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out
from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea,
and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and
in winter shall it be. And the LORD shall be king
over all the earth: in that day shall there be one
LORD, and his name one. All the land shall be turned
as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem:
and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her
place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the
first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower
of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses. And men
shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter
destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will
smite all the people that have fought against
Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they
stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume
away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume
away in their mouth. And it shall come to pass in
that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be
among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the
hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up
against the hand of his neighbour. And Judah also
shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the
heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold,
and silver, and apparel, in great abundance. And so
shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the
camel, and of the *****, and of all the beasts that
shall be in these tents, as this plague. And it shall
come to pass, that every one that is left of all the
nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up
from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of
hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it
shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the
families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the
King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no
rain. And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come
not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague,
wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come
not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. This shall
be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all
nations that come not up to keep the feast of
tabernacles.

The things that must... what? "shortly come to
pass"

(Not necessarily shortly as men count shortly)
Beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one
day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a
thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack
concerning his promise, as some men count slackness;
but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any
should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Notice it reads "for the time is at hand*."

(*Greek eggus, can mean near, not necessarily as men
count near. Paul indicated the things that have to
happen before the second coming and rapture; these
things have not yet occurred)
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our
Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto
him, that ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be
troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by
letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at
hand (enistemi). Let no man deceive you by any means:
for that day shall not come, except there come a
falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed,
the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth
himself above all that is called God, or that is
worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple
of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye
not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these
things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he
might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of
iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth
will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then
shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall
consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall
destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him,
whose coming is after the working of Satan with all
power and signs and lying wonders.

Title: Re: Judgment Day 15 Nov 2005 04:21:48 AM
Read The Bible wrote:

Judgement of this world certainly began with
Jerusalem

(The temporal judgment that will occur at the second
coming and during the millennium has not yet occurred)

Didn't even say hi....well.
"temporal"?, since when is judgement temporal since every soul is
judged?
Judgement has come Jesus said, and will continue. As far as this
"Millennium" teaching, that was the first thing I saw that opened my
eyes concerning false teaching. I saw that they died:
Why say some that as they are [living] they will reign with Christ,
becoming "priests of God and of Christ" ?...Cant you see, they died:
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was
given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for
the witness of Jesus and for the Word of God, and who had not worshiped
the beast nor his image, nor had received his mark on their foreheads,
nor in their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand
years.
Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand
years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection.
The second death has no authority over these, but they will be priests
of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him a thousand years.
Could it be that Rev 20:4-6 is misunderstood since JESUS did not say a
single word to his Apostles as he lived, and JESUS did indeed reveal
all things spoken of by the prophets of ol' as he was among us in a
flesh body.
JESUS the Annointed One will not show on Earth to sit in a little
chair anywhere, its just not fitting and he never said he would. His
reign is forever, not 1000 years. He even said he will not be "here" or
"there", only false Christs would be...and false prophets.
He does not come to us in a flesh body, nor will he ever again walk
amongst the living, we go to him:
*Joh 14:1-3* Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God,
believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were
not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if
I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you
unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
"that where I am, there ye may be also."....Where is he?...In the
highest heaven.
Zech. chapter 9, 10 ,11 ,12 and 13 were fulfilled by Christ as he
entered into Jerusalem in a flesh body so long ago, and I can prove it:
The prophecies of Zechariah were concerning the coming of JESUS into
Jerusalem in the flesh as Christ had done near two thousand years ago:
[OLD]
Zec 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of
Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having
salvation; lowly, and riding upon an *****, and upon a colt the foal of
an *****.
Zec 9:10 And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse
from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak
peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea,
and from the river even to the ends of the earth.
[NEW]
Joh 12:12 On the next day much people that were come to the feast,
when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
Joh 12:13 Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and
cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name
of the Lord.
Joh 12:14 And Jesus, when he had found a young *****, sat thereon; as it
is written,
Joh 12:15 Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting
on an *****'s colt.
Joh 12:16 These things understood not his disciples at the first: but
when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were
written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.
_______
Just as "every one" people are called "grass" in this scripture, so
too is the "later rain" spoken of in chapter 14 a refreshing Truth of
brightness that was to fall upon "every one" who would receive it:
[OLD]
Zec 10:1 Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so
the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to
every one grass in the field.
Zec 10:2 For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen
a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they
went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no
shepherd.
[NEW]
1Pe 1:24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the
flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth
away:
Jam 5:7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord.
Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and
hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
_______
The shepherds (the Scribes and Pharisees) leading the flock ( "the
people"; the Jews) were not good shepherds, so a Good Shepherd, even
Beauty was sent to them:
[OLD]
Zec 11:7 And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of
the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and
the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.
Zec 11:8 Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul
lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.
Zec 11:9 Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it
die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the
rest eat every one the flesh of another.
Zec 11:10 And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I
might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.
Zec 11:11 And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock
that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the LORD.
Zec 11:12 And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price;
and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of
silver.
Zec 11:13 And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly
price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of
silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.
[NEW]
Mat 26:14 Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the
chief priests,
Mat 26:15 And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver
him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.
Mat 27:3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was
condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of
silver to the chief priests and elders,
Mat 27:4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent
blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.
Mat 27:5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and
departed, and went and hanged himself.
Mat 27:6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is
not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price
of blood.
Mat 27:7 And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's
field, to bury strangers in.
Mat 27:8 Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto
this day.
_______
But they killed Him, even the Beauty of God's eye, the beloved Son of
God:
[OLD]
Zec 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the
inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and
they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn
for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness
for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
Zec 12:11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as
the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
[NEW]
Joh 19:32 Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and
of the other which was crucified with him.
Joh 19:33 But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead
already, they brake not his legs:
Joh 19:34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and
forthwith came there out blood and water.
Joh 19:35 And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and
he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.
Joh 19:36 For these things were done, that the scripture should be
fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.
Joh 19:37 And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him
whom they pierced.
_______
As the Water of Life from Christ spilled upon Jerusalem, Our God was
angry with his people the little ones who killed the Good Shepherd by
calling for his blood and decided to cleanse the land:
[OLD]
Zec 13:1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of
David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.
Zec 13:2 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of
hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and
they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets
and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.
Zec 13:7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that
is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the
sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little
ones.
Zec 13:8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the
LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall
be left therein.
[NEW]
Mat 26:30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount
of Olives.
Mat 26:31 Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because
of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the
sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.
Mat 26:32 But after I am risen again, I will go before you into
Galilee.
But all the sudden not chapter 14? I find that odd.
Didnt you leave out a verse about sacrificing animals like they used to
do, that thing that is no more ? Is there not a New Covenant?:
[OLD]
Zec 14:21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness
unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take
of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the
Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.
Notice in this scripture above that it is written "and all they that
sacrifice shall come". Daily sacrifices have no part in todays
salvation of Jesus Christ, it has been abolished. Nor will it ever be
required again for the remission of sins. So of course this in no way
refers to a future time.
This refers to a time in the past when some still sacrificed. And the
same pagans took many holy vessels into captivity. And the land was
also purged of those called Canaanites, those who said they were Jews
but were not.
[NEW-1]
Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of
Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their
mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and
they shall be to me a people:
Heb 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every
man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the
least to the greatest.
Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their
sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
Heb 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old.
Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

(Not necessarily shortly as men count shortly)

The "rapture"? You mean those who are changed into a spiritual body as
the flesh has fallen like a courpse amongst that place where the angels
gather and their voice is heard...the grave? You mean the harpazo?

Hi "Read the Bible", I like your name. BIBLE! is written on my right
thigh...long story.

Judgement began with "the prince of this world" Jesus said. And
Judgement of this world certainly began with Jerusalem who was to blame
for the blood of all the prophets, from A-Z, Abel to Zecharias, even
the blood of Jesus fell upon her. In her was found the blood of all the
prophets. (You want scripture?)

When did Jesus say judgment would be executed?

Ultimately your answer is found in both John 11 and Luke 16 - it has to do
with the resurrection.

Ultimately your answer is found in both John 11 and Luke 16 - it has to do
with the resurrection.

Joh 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you
that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto
you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
Joh 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of
righteousness, and of judgment:
Joh 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
Joh 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me
no more;
Joh 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
Joh 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of
this world be cast out.
Joh 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men
unto me.
It certainly had to do with Christ' resurrection, but had more to do
with the "prince of this world" than anyone else, and the "judgement of
this world" [kosmos- the whole world]. JESUS said " Now shall the
prince of this world be cast out.". And the prince was the devil, and
"Now" was certainly then.
When Jesus rose from the dead he defeated the grave/hades and death:
he holds the keys. I dont think the devil just said "here ya go"
either, he had to cast him out just like he said he was about to do.
Rev 1:17-18 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he
laid his right hand on me, saying, "Fear not, I am the first and the
last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore,
and I have the keys of Death and Hades.
JESUS said " I HAVE the keys", not "I will someday have they keys". I
dont think the devil just said "here ya go" either.
That was a major reason Jesus put on flesh, to defeat death and the
grave/hades, and even the devil:
Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and
blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through
death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the
devil;
Heb 2:15-16 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their
lifetime subject to bondage. For verily he took not on him the nature
of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
Joh 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now
is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that
hear shall live.
JESUS said "and now is". Again, Now was then. That is whats written.

Who is the "prince of this world"? Is it the same as found in Genesis 3?
So the LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, Cursed
are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on
your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life."

When Jesus rose from the dead he defeated the grave/hades and death:

hear shall live.

I had been looking at this last verse recently, in regard to the Power of
His Word.
Now, back to Lazarus.
In John 11 we find Jesus stating "Your brother will rise again." Martha
responded to Jesus with "I know he will rise again in the resurrection at
the last day." This was accepted belief (other than amongst the Sadducees)
and can be seen in verses such as Daniel 12:13 "As for you, go your way
till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise
to receive your allotted inheritance."
Jesus responded with "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes
in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me
will never die."
He then proceeded to call Lazarus out from the cave.
What happened to Lazarus?
(There are also some "types" to look for - not only a pointer to his own
resurrection, but also to ours.)

The Day of Judgment for those who reject Him and His Word is yet to come,
as we find in various Scriptures such as 2nd Peter 3;

Look at the contrast between His ministry on earth, and how the judgment
will be wrought on the "last day" (John 12:47-50);

Clearly this judgment is based upon repentance of the living - those who
turn to Him and His Word. The Day of Judgment - The Last Day;

[All scripture KJV]

Contradiction:
1) the speech act of contradicting someone; "he spoke as if he thought
his claims were immune to contradiction".
2) a statement that is necessarily false; "the statement `he is brave
and he is not brave' is a contradiction".
3) opposition between two conflicting forces or ideas.
Confusion:
1) a mistake that results from taking one thing to be another; "he
changed his name in order to avoid confusion with the notorious
outlaw".
2) a mental state characterized by a lack of clear and orderly thought
and behavior.
3) a feeling of embarrassment that leaves you confused.
4) disorder resulting from a failure to behave predictably; "the army
retreated in confusion.
1st John 3:9-11 (KJV)
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth
in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the
children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever
doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his
brother. For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning,
that we should love one another.

I (Jesus) will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear
him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge:
but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed
lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the
goodness and severity of God: on them which fell,
severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue
in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
