Object: Latin Vulgate
Does anyone know of an online source where I can read the Latin
Vulgate as produced by Jerome for Pope Damasus in the 4th Century?
So far I have found out that the Confraternity Text of the NT of my
family Bible is based on the 1592 edition of the Latin Vulgate.
And I know that there are differences between that version and the one
that Martin Luther used to produce the first Bible in the German
language.
I would appreciate whatever assistance can be offered.
Thank you.
:-)
