Like the Olive Tree |
"His branches shall spread; His beauty shall be like
an olive tree..." - Hosea 14:6
Since antiquity the olive tree - a small evergreen
cultivated for the oil-bearing olives it produces
- has been a ubiquitous presence in the Holy Land,
thriving even on rocky hillsides. Though its most
productive years are at age 40 to 50, an olive tree
will produce olives for hundreds of years.

Even on rocky hillsides. Something to think about. :)

God doesn't do His deepest work in the shallowest
part of the water.
