Love |
The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the
Holy Ghost which is given unto us. For when we were
yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the
ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one
die, yet peradventure for a good man some would even
dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us,
in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for
us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood,
we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if,
when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by
the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled,
we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but
we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by
whom we have now received the atonement.
Romans 5:5-11
(God) hath delivered us from the power of darkness,
and hath translated us into the kingdom of his
dear (agape, love) Son, in whom we have redemption
through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins...
Colossians 1:13-14
Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins
in his own blood, and hath made us kings and priests
unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion
for ever and ever. Amen. Revelation 1:5-6
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me,
bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and
forget not all his benefits, who forgiveth all thine
iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; who
redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth
thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies...
Psalms 103:1-4
Thy lovingkindness is better than life. My lips shall
praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live; I
will lift up my hands in thy name. Psalms 63:3-4
In this was manifested the love of God toward us,
because that God sent his only begotten Son into the
world, that we might live through him. Herein is
love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us,
and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love
one another. 1 John 4:9-11
Love one another, as I have loved you. John 15:12
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples,
if ye have love one to another. John 13:35
Having compassion one of another, love as brethren,
be pitiful, be courteous, not rendering evil for
evil, or railing for railing, but contrariwise
blessing... 1 Peter 3:8-9
Though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand
all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have
all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have
not charity (love), I am nothing. And though I bestow
all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my
body to be burned, and have not charity (love), it
profiteth me nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:2-3

Yes Paul wrote some truly awful rubbish, Can anyone really doubt it was
he that screwed up the Jesus Movement and sent it on a two millenia path
of appalling error
Paul really is awful!
