Mark Uses Midrash To Portray Jesus As The Lord OF Psalm 23 |

Jesus' actions are like that of the Lord, as Jesus is compared to a
shepherd in Psalm 23.
We know this part of Mark as "the feeding of the 5,000". It begins
with Jesus going on a boat on the lake and the people on foot walking
beside the lake (still water). In this way Mark projects Jesus as
Lord.
