OT: Reasons to vote for Arnold Scwarzenegger in November |
I voted for Arnold the last time (and tried to get everyone in my path to
vote for him as well). While I disagree with some of his positions (abortion
for one) I agree he is the best Governor California has had since Ronald Raegan.
http://www.joinarnold.com/site/c.owL2KgN3LxH/b.1466181/k.8BAF/Accomplishments.htm
Accomplishments
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has a strong record of accomplishment.
In the two years since Governor Schwarzenegger was elected, California's
economy has grown, the state budget deficit has been slashed, taxes have been
cut and more than 500,000 jobs have been created.
Governor Schwarzenegger has invested more in public schools than any other
time in state history. He has spearheaded pioneering transportation projects
including the Hydrogen Highway. He has overhauled parts of the state's
superfluous and inefficient government. He has brought to California billions
of dollars of federal money.
But that's just the beginning. The Governor plans to build on that record,
and has laid out a bold vision for California's future. Together with voters,
he will tackle the big issues facing the state.
Education
Under Governor Schwarzenegger's leadership, public schools receive more state
money than any other time in California's history. The Governor is investing
in California's students our leaders of tomorrow.
His accomplishments include:
California now invests more than $10,000 each year per pupil the highest
funding ever in state history. Governor Schwarzenegger has increased that
number both years he has been in office.
Over the past two years, the Governor delivered more than $2.6 billion to
schools for construction projects building that will lead to 7,539 new
classrooms for 188,341 students.
Governor Schwarzenegger continued to promote the well-being of the youngest
Californians by banning sugary soft drinks and offering more fruits and
vegetables in school cafeterias, and by consistently advocating after-school
and physical fitness programs.
Training for much-needed nurses was expanded with a $124 million boost from
the Governor.
The Governor protected community college fees from being increased to keep
them the lowest in the nation.
Transportation
The governor's trailblazing accomplishments in the state's transportation
infrastructure include:
Governor Schwarzenegger won additional money for California from Washington
D.C., increasing the amount of federal money spent on the state's
transportation projects by 30 percent.
Overall, transportation funding increased by 11 percent under Governor
Schwarzenegger's watch.
Proposition 42 was fully funded in the Governor's budget.
The Governor signed legislation allowing hybrid vehicles to travel in
high-occupancy vehicle lanes.
The Governor helped create a Hydrogen Highway by providing $6.5 million in
funding for hydrogen fueling stations.
He took the lead in negotiations to clear up a 15-year logjam on construction
of a new Bay Bridge.
Housing
Governor Schwarzenegger has encouraged homeownership and made housing more
accessible to low- and moderate-income families over the past two years:
The Governor increased funding by 19 percent to the Homebuyer's Downpayment
Assistance Program, giving loans to an additional 4,398 low- and
moderate-income California families.
Within his ambitious Initiative to End Chronic Homelessness, the Governor
expedited funds that are going toward 66,000 more affordable homes and 9,000
shelter spaces.
He helped military veterans buy homes by relaxing the Fannie Mae requirements
within the state's CalVet program.
Good Government
Since taking office two years ago, Governor Schwarzenegger has successfully
streamlined state government so that it is more efficient, more cost effective,
and more responsible to the people of California. He also has sought to empower
local governments:
The Governor eliminated 11 superfluous boards and commissions.
He leveraged the state's massive buying power to quickly save the state $150
million over three years.
Under the Governor's leadership, wait times in lines at the Department of
Motor Vehicles dropped from an average 1 hour to just 21 minutes.
Governor Schwarzenegger kept his promise to cities and counties by repaying
$1.2 billion in vehicle licensing fees a year ahead of schedule.
He created the San Joaquin Valley Partnership, a collaborative effort between
the state and local governments to address regional problems such as
unemployment, education, and air quality.
The Governor committed state money to help local governments in their times
of need helping defray the costs of the 2003 San Diego wildfires, the San
Joaquin Delta levee break in 2004, and severe southern California rainstorms
last year.
The Governor provided an addition $12 million dollars for mosquito control
to stave off West Nile Virus in hard-hit areas.
Federal Funding
Governor Schwarzenegger has consistently worked to increase California's share
of federal money:
The Governor brought home $28.22 billion in transportation funding through
2010.
He won $18.4 billion for the safety net hospital system, providing care for
Medi-Cal beneficiaries and the uninsured.
Governor Schwarzenegger won $395 million worth of continued federal support
for the important CALFED water program.
Even before Hurricane Katrina illustrated the devastation caused by failed
levees, Governor Schwarzenegger secured $40.9 million for levee and
flood-control work.
Economy
California's economy has been vibrant under Governor Schwarzenegger's
leadership:
The state saw the creation of more than 500,000 new jobs.
Governor Schwarzenegger protected California's military bases from closure,
preserving regional economies.
The Governor enacted legislation to protect farm workers from extreme heat
conditions.
Promoting California
Governor Schwarzenegger loves the state of California, and has worked hard
to promote the state and its resources.
The Governor restored $7.3 million in tourism funding.
In 2004, tourism increased by 7.4 percent over the previous year which
translates to an additional $82.5 billion pumped into the state.
Healthcare
Governor Schwarzenegger's accomplishments providing healthcare to Californians
include:
The Governor expanded much-needed nurse training by committing $124 million
to programs.
The Governor's budget protected healthcare eligibility requirements, thereby
increasing healthcare spending by $1 billion.
The Governor gave $23 million to counties to help them care for the uninsured
members of their communities.
Governor Schwarzenegger expanded local community health grants to tackle the
increasing problem of childhood asthma.
Air
Governor Schwarzenegger has worked to cleanse the air that Californians breathe:
The Governor signed an Executive Order setting goals to dramatically reduce
greenhouse gas emissions.
The Governor's Breathe Easier campaign has led to more than 7,745 cars being
taken off the road the equivalent of keeping 364 tons of air pollutants
from being emitted into the air each year.
Governor Schwarzenegger invested more than $165 million to get gross polluters
off of California roads.
Energy
Before Governor Schwarzenegger came to Sacramento, brownouts and rolling
blackouts were the norm in California. Two years later, the energy crisis
is not an urgent daily concern for Californians:
Since Governor Schwarzenegger took office, new energy generation has expanded
by 2,834 megawatts. That's enough power for 3 million homes. In 2006, another
1,765 megawatts or enough energy for 2 million homes is expected.
The Governor's One Million Solar Roof initiative promotes the clean energy
of the sun.
Governor Schwarzenegger negotiated $3 billion in refunds from energy companies,
related to the energy crisis.
Crime
Keeping Californians safe is Governor Schwarzenegger's #1 priority:
Governor Schwarzenegger led the charge to defeat Proposition 66, which
threatened to weaken California's effective Three Strikes Law.
The Governor signed legislation to prevent convicted sex offenders from
receiving taxpayer-funded erectile dysfunction drugs.
He proposed the landmark Jessica's Law to toughen regulations regarding
convicted sex offenders.
Homeland Security
Protecting Californians from the threat of terrorism remains at the forefront
of Governor Schwarzenegger's concerns:
The Governor established the State Terrorism Threat Assessment Center to
streamline information-sharing between federal and state law enforcement.
The Governor allocated Homeland Security funds to strengthen security at 11
key California ports.

Notice how your title line has OT.
I trust you know that means OFF TOPIC!!
Why do you think that by putting OT in your title line, you can then go off
on a rant that is OFF TOPIC.
Oh, that's right, you think someone gives a *****, ABOUT WHAT YOU THINK!!
Your posts get dumber and dumber all the time!! You take a rinky dink
religion course at a backwater college, and think you suddenly have the
right to tell people what to think about religion, and now politics.
And you wonder why people laugh at you!!

There are grounds for believing that "Bible John" <johnw_94020@yahoo.comPDA>

factiously give

Please cease abusing Seventh-day Adventist Christian's right to forum

Dear Reader,
I recently was advised that my entry in the Origin Electricity

Especially given Cyclone Larry which struck the State of Queensland on 20
March 2006, I feel it prudent to pass the information onto others, who are
capable of something other than superficial view as philosophical merit--I
will be looking for an replacement to Origin Electricity as my alternative
energy supplier, as I question the soundness of their ideology.
Accompanying the New Years Panel layer to my piosphere, was the following
statement:
"A piosphere may give self-reliance after a stormm: It's the point of our
daily beginning, the vitality of our future, and our continuum past." [Dolf
Boek, 10 March]
as a "hyponomic view of the hypostastis which has a contemporaneous
chronological calibration".

The hypothetical notion deals with the conception of the hyponomos (under
law; subject to law--this usage does not appear in the standard lexica of
classical, New Testament, or patristic Greek; cf: Dictionary of Latin &
Greek Theological Terms): "Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that
know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he
liveth?" [Romans 7:1]" as hyparktikos {ie. really or substantially} by
suggesting the hypostasis as represented by the javascript object:
var ip = {
'$all' : [],
0 : { // Plane 0 - n levels
0 : { // Plane 1
0 : { // Plane 2
0 : { // Plane 3
0 : { // Plane 4
0 : { // Plane 5
0 : { // Plane 6
0 : { // Plane 7
0 : { // Plane 8
0 : { // Plane 9
0 : { // Plane 10
0 : { // Plane 11
0 : { // Plane 12
0 : { // Plane 13
0 : null
}
}
}
}
}
}
}
}
}
}
}
}
}
}
}
may be used to express hypostatically {ie. hypostatikos} or personally, the
essentiality of being {ousia}. As we may see from our previous discussion
of the traditional DAOIST/TORAH (Pythagorean) A-U-M worldview of the
religious/political Mysteries, that there has been historical precedent for
this. There was the heretical christological position 'HOMO DEIFER' (a
God-bearing man) ascribed to Nestorius (c.386 - c.451) as Patriarch of
Constantinople because of his assertion of the hypostatic or personal
character of Christ's human nature. [Muller 1985 Latin & Greek Dictionary of
Theological Terms, 138]
Which I demonstrated by means of a hypothesis that there is no difference to
an IP address as a 4 dimensional sphere: '203.166.246.101' and 13
dimensional sphere, as for example the 81 (% 81 = 0) element of the GRAPPLE
Homoiotic Noumenon: GRAPPLE.Nous[0][0] = [71, 80, 45, 35, 22, 54, 50, 65,
19, 1, 11, 16, 70] which we'll expand to [

#80 - Primitivist Independence/ Remaining in Isolation,
#45 - Extremes and Reversals/ Greatest Virtue,

As this prototyping Javascript example at first impressions seems to suggest
(I still have to test the effect of p[x] = i[x] as opposed to p[x] = new
Array(i[x])):
<script language="javascript">
var ip = {

}

}
}
}
}
},
'add' : function (ego, testInstanceData) {
if (typeof(ego) == "string") {
var i = ego.split('.');
} else { // object
var i = ego;
}
ip[i] = testInstanceData;
ip[i].test = true;
ip[i].date = new Date();
ip.$all[ip.$all.length] = new Array(i);
},
'get' : function (ego) {
if (typeof(ego) == "string") {
var i = ego.split('.');
} else { // object
var i = ego;
}
return(ip[i]);
}
}
ip.add('203.166.246.101', {0 : 'Abuse Instance Data'});
ip.add(GRAPPLE.Nous[0][0], {0 : 'Test Instance Data'});
for (var i = 0; i < ip.$all.length; i++)
alert("The claim to an Instance or State is at least a logical proposition:

A comment needs to be made, as to the purpose, function and differences
between the traditional DAOIST/TORAH (Pythagorean) A-U-M worldview of the
religious/political Mysteries associated to both the Tetragrammation of
Number (Sephirot) obtained from yarrow sticks/stones {ie. According to Yang
Hsiung's (53 BCE to 18 CE) tetragram system, each four-line glyph has 3
possibilities {ie. 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 = #81} whose component parts are read from
top to bottom, comprising either:
(3) an unbroken line correlated to YANG/FATHER {+ 0, 27, 54};
(9) a line broken once representing YIN/MOTHER {+ 0, 9, 18}; and
(27) a line broken twice symbolising ZHUN/SON {+ 0, 3, 6}
(81) as its culturing as that which organises {ie. within its sphere/ONE
within FAMILY: + 0, 81, 9(9ē+1)/2 = #369} the myriad of individual phenomena
(WAN WU): + 1, 2, 3} = Tetragrammation hierarchy value.
"The Mystery gives birth to two divine images. The two divine images give
birth to the spherical [universe]. The cosmic sphere gives birth to Three
Models [of Heaven-Earth-Man]. The Three Models give birth to the Nine
Positions. The Mystery in having the model 'One' {ie. YANG/FATHER {+ 0, 27 -
Paradoxes of the Greatest Skill/ Function of Skill, 54 - Culturing
Perspectives/ Cultivation of Intuition}} attains to Heaven. Therefore, we
say of it that it 'has Heaven [in it].' The Mystery in having the model
'Two' {ie. YIN/MOTHER {+ 0, 9 - Inconstancy of Achievement/ Practising
Placidity, 18 - Origin of Ethical Concepts/ Palliation of Vulgarity}}
attains to Earth. Therefore, we say of it that it 'has Earth [in it]'. The
Mystery in having the model 'Three' {ie. ZHUN/SON {+ 0, 3 - Prescriptions
for Politics/ Keeping the People Quiet, 6 - Superiority of the Female/
Completion of Form}} attains to Man. Therefore, we say of it that it 'has
Man [in it]'.
The sage investigates changes in the moon's appearance and location, as well
as departures from its orbit {ie. The term TS'E NI means 'to lose the
regular course' where for every 19 years there must be 7 intercalary months
(Heaven's Compensation) and presumably may include irregularities such as
eclipses:
"Heaven and Earth face each other. Sun and moon are in conjunction. Mountain
and valley flow into one another. Light and heavy float on one another. Yin
and Yang succeed one another. High and low rank do not defile one another."
}. He only finds a norm in the constant sequence of sun and moon, and in the
order of male and female. He makes them the canonical model for all
eternity. Therefore, the Mystery in grand fashion comprises Heaven's
Origins, binding and securing it to what is to come.
The Mystery works with multiples of six and nine. The divining stalks use
three times six (ie. 18). The Priniciples of Heaven and Earth uses two times
nine (also = 18). The Mystery certainly does use eighteen as a base then!
The Grand Accumulation Sum begins with 18 - 'Origin of Ethical Concepts/
Palliation of Vulgarity' divining stalks and ends with 54 - 'Culturing
Perspectives/ Cultivation of Intuition'. If we add the numbers that
correspond to the beginning and end of the stalks, 18 + 54 = #72 -
'Self-Love/ Holding Oneself Dear', we halve it to make the Grand Centre {=

Reasons to vote for Arnold Schwarzenegger:
It'll make Minnesotans feel better about electing Jesse Ventura.
