For couple years now since Pat Robertson announced that he had prostate
cancer and he would undergo surgery, I always wonder how Pat Robertson could
still be declaring on his TV program the 700 Club that he receives words of
knowledge and wisdom from God? He closes his eyes, within seconds he starts
to name all sort of illnesses and claims that people among his viewers are
healed, even of cancer. I cannot help but notice, at that time Pat Robertson
did not receive any words of knowledge or wisdom about his own cancer. More
amazingly it seems that Pat Robertson did not expect to hear any words at
all from God for himself . Quickly after he made the announcement, he was
scheduled to have surgery the week after. Why the rush? If Pat Robertson has
been truly hearing from God, what prevented him to patiently wait to hear
more words from God until he finally announces the extraordinary news of a
real Miracle. What a powerful testimonial this could have been, multitudes
through out the world would have been deeply touched! Unfortunately when it
comes to his own illness, it is clear that Pat Robertson does not rely on
words from God. Either Pat Robertson suddenly had lost faith in the words of
healing he has been speaking, or the only remaining possibility is that he
knows all the miracle words he has spoken were bogus. No matter how we look
into all this, we can be sure that something is definitely wrong. Is it
possible that actually Pat Robertson may have never heard any words from God
at all? Could it be that Pat Robertson proclaimed all these miracles on
Television, fully aware that nobody was really getting healed?
If Pat Robertson only had some doubts about his ability to heal himself, he
could have gone to his friend Benny Hinn or to other famous Charismatic
Healers. He also had the possibility to seek healing from the anointed
Ministers who claim to have raised the dead. Even better, on the 700 Club
program or on TBN, he could have invited every single Pentecostal and
Charismatic Healers for a live broadcast to pray together for his prostate
cancer Miracle. Can you imagine how many million viewers would have watched
to see if these so called prophets could truly work of a real Miracle.
Unfortunately we are left to accept this curious reality, when it comes to
his own illness Pat Robertson does not even trust any of the popular
healers. If Pat Robertson himself does not believe that his fellow
Pentecostal and Charismatic Clerics can heal the sick, why should anyone
else do?
While for years he has been asking his followers to believe in his ability
to speak in couple minutes dozens of miracles, Pat Robertson did not utter a

astronomical number of so called miraculous healing Pat Robertson has been
claiming in couple days of broadcast alone, greatly surpasses the total

all a single miracle from God but instead he trusted in the skills of the
best accredited Surgeons. Just a few days after his Surgery guess what, Pat
Robertson was back in Business still claiming that he hears more miraculous
words from God!
Personally I do believe that Pat Robertson is truly hearing something: the
sound of huge amount of Checks and Dollar Bills that the tellers of his
Banks are continuously counting!

Are you supposed to be writting as a christian or non christian? I just had
a word of knowledge that you need to be healed of tongue wagging or
criticism. Who are you to pass judgement on anyone? What are you doing for
God? What are you doing to help those in need? What, concerning our God,
do you do for Him? This type of thing that you are saying is wrong, because
you do not know what is in his heart and you certainly are not his judge.
Let God do that, Please!! Pat will also tell you that God helps doctors to
do what they need to do, too. After reading what you have to say about Pat
Robertson, I am appalled. My husband and I belong to CBN, because I believe
in God, first and secondly, I believe in what Operation Blessing, and CBN is
doing for the Lord. My Daddy was an old time Baptist Minister, who always
traveled the hills of WV. speaking at any churches that needed him, for the
few dollars that they "might" put in his jacket pocket, and wishing that he
could do more. He also worked two jobs to provide for our family, to try to
accomplish whatever he could for God. And look at Pat Robertson, who
started off in the 1960's with $3.00 and now helps those all
around the world. So, you take him off the air and take the funds from all
of those people that he helps and what good have you done. Operation
blessing trucks are still in Florida, from last year,
feeding and helping those who still are not back in their homes. What you
haven't seen on the news is that by the second day of Katrina, he had
numerous refrigerated, 18 wheelers rolling out to hook up with Salvation
Army. They have a jet "Hospital plane," that has five operating rooms and
they fly anywhere they are needed, for children or others in poor area's of
our country and other countries. So, before you say any more, have you ever
opened your mouth and inserted foot. If you have, then you know that all
you have to do is ask forgiveness and it is done. I am sure that no one
could penetrate your heart or mind about this, so, Enough said! God Bless.

You don't sound like a very "Happy One" to me. I can't spurt out
condemnation and hatred and consider myself the "Happy One." I am happy
because I am a child of The King, bought by the blood of Jesus and set free.
Free from tongue wagging, blaming, judging and listening to gossip. You
seem to have a lot of facts, but part of those facts are the amount of money
that it takes to help the poor, the needy and the downtrodden, and travel
the world, doing so. I am happy to be a part of the help for those, who
sometimes can't help themselves. Acts:3:6: Then Peter said, Silver and gold
have I none; but such as I have give I thee. I have very little
financially, but such as I have, give I thee. I wonder when the widow gave
her mite, if she was asking, How much money does this person that I am
giving to, have? or how wealty? No, she just gave her little mite, without
condemnation. What I have belongs to God, anyway, because without Him, I
would have nothing. Seems to me you are just out to persecute someone, who
brings the gospel, and helps the needy, just because they are wealthy. God
didn't say that we had to be poor christians, He said He would pour out such
blessings that we couldn't contain them. We don't seem to think one little
iota about the major wealth of people like Opra, Dr. Phil and those who help
people, but they just aren't doing it "in the name of God." Why is it that
it is O.K. for them to be the richest people in the world, but someone who
is helping people "in the name of God," is not supposed to have any money.
You said that he scams his money from people worried about dying, but I
don't think as a christian, I am worried about dying, when I realize that I
will enter through the gates of pearl and be walking streets of gold, and
everything will be wonderful there. I don't really wish to leave my family,
at this point, but if God chose for me too, then I know where I am going. I
think I would be very careful about condemning one of God's messengers,
especially when they are helping God's children, or even those who may not
yet be God's children, who are in need. They are doing great works for
hurricane victims, and much, much more, but no one wishes to acknowledge

Mat 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be
perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the
poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come
and follow me.

he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
Mat 19:23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily
I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter
into the kingdom of heaven.

We don't seem to think one little
iota about the major wealth of people like Opra, Dr. Phil and those who help
people, but they just aren't doing it "in the name of God." Why is it that

is helping people "in the name of God," is not supposed to have any money.

Again, it doesn't seem that is what Jesus wanted - con
people out of their money in the name of god. And, if
the money really went to where Pat Robertson claimed
it was going, he wouldn't be accumulating all that
wealth.
