Personal Issues and an Applogy |
Hi Everyone
I am writing this to be on the record for those who want to know.
With the things I was posting on the net in these groups a few years back, I
was attacked very strongly. And my reaction to these attacks was hideously
angry on my part. Such opened up wounds from my past where I had suppressed
years of being bullied at school.
The point of this is to say that I did appologise at the time for my temper
outbursts. But also that there was some good in the bad of it all. For it
made me have to deal with things which have made me a better person.
I think the goodly thing to do is to not justify our actions, but to learn
from them. For if I didnt deal wiht my issues, and simply said well it's all
their fault for attacking me. Then I would have only kept aggressive things
going in my self righteous little war. Jesus says to turn the other cheek.
In fact he said Father forgive them they know not what they do.
God and Jesus are the ones for forgiveness. They are all for realizing the
error of your ways and getting a second chance as many times as it takes.
And I say this in the area of what many might not consider sin, but instead
justify it as I mentioned above.
Truly we need to learn this lesson. To not also react to them who have
"their issues" attacking us. But to consider that they need help. The chain
reactions of hot emotions can be horrible online. One persons words can
enflame a major rage. As we saw with the pictures of the Mohammed.
WE all have our issues. WE all need to face them and not blame those which
trigger them. Strange as it sounds. It is almost like saying the best thing
that ever happened to me was that I got cancer. Because it made me be honest
with myself.
So being effected with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome, with all the triggers
has sent me off the air for a while where I havent been able to function
very well. Fear of ridicule has been dehabilitating.
But on the bright side. Things are looking up. One has to admit a problem to
fix it.
Father forgive them they know not what they do.
And thanks for helping me overcome some issues which had haunted me under
the surface and were going to come out one day. For with them dealt with
now, I am able to be strong when the world is falling appart in the years to
come.
