Object: Physics now questions the ToE, advances biblical "Creation"
Basically in that the speed of light may not actually be "constant"....
***Speed of light slowing down?***
Chris Bennett - WorldNetDaily.com
"The theory of evolution requires unfathomable lengths of time - eons ... billions and billions of
years. Even with all that time, it's still hard to imagine how complex biochemicals such as
hemoglobin or chlorophyll self assembled in the primordial goo. But to those of us who question the
process, the answer is always the same. Time. More time than you can grasp - timespans so vast that
anything is possible, even chance combinations of random chemicals to form the stunning complexities
of reproducing life."
"Modern physics is now considering a theory that could throw into confusion virtually all of the
accepted temporal paradigms of 20th-century science, including the age of the universe and the
billions of years necessary for evolution. Further, it raises the distinct possibility that
scientific validation exists for a (gasp) literal interpretation of the seminal passages of Genesis.
Goodbye Scopes trial."
"The theory is deceptively simple: The speed of light is not constant, as we've been taught since
the early 1930s, but has been steadily slowing since the first instance of time."
"Within the last 24 months, Dr. Joao Magueijo, a physicist at Imperial College in London, Dr. John
Barrow of Cambridge, Dr. Andy Albrecht of the University of California at Davis and Dr. John Moffat
of the University of Toronto have all published work advocating their belief that light speed was
much higher - as much as 10 to the 10th power faster - in the early stages of the "Big Bang" than it
is today. (It's important to note that none of these researchers have expressed any bias toward a
predetermined. answer, biblical or otherwise. If anything, they are antagonistic toward a biblical
worldview.)"

Apparently - like most people - you do not understand the theory of
relativity.
In order to measure speed, we need to synchronize clocks
in order to synchronize clocks we need to assume the speed of light is
constant.
I slowing down of that speed simply could not be measured.

This is the common deception they throw out there: that anything suddenly
becomes possible just because vast amounts of time pass.
If you leave your garage empty and locked, a new mercedes will not suddenly
materialize next week, next month, next year, or next century. And 13
billion years from now, still no new car.
If a hurricane goes by, it's not going to assemble a 747 jet. Even if you
wait your whole lifetime for all hurricanes.. or 1,000 years for all
hurricanes.. or 13 billion years for all those hurricanse. Still not going
to assemble a 747 jet.
Life doesn't get created from lifelessness in nature. Didn't happen over the
past month, year, decade, century, or the thousands of years we've seen.
It's not suddenly going to happen just because 13 billion years go by.
One of the great "Gods" the evolutionists worship: the magical "13 billion
year God can create anything because it only takes time to do it". Those who
are more objective know better than to think time itself has inherent magic
in it.
God Bless!

And, if you leave your mouth shut, nobody will discover your stupidity!
Honestly, have you EVER encountered a self-replicating automobile or jet
plane? And, if you leave your garage empty and locked, if there is the
tiniest route in from the outside it will fill up with an entire ecology
of centipedes, insects, arachnids and probably the odd crustaceas, all
happily EVOLVING!

If a hurricane goes by, it's not going to assemble a 747 jet. Even if

No, but if it took a bunch of creationists all praying to their false god
in one of their phony churches for the wind to miss them, that would
ACCIDENTALLY improve the human gene pool!

Life doesn't get created from lifelessness in nature. Didn't happen
over the past month, year, decade, century, or the thousands of years

Life is chemistry. Whatever or Whoever framed the laws of physics in
this universe made chemistry possible.

You're not even TRYING to be objective.

God Bless!

He did. He blessed scientists with brains to try to figure things out.
Apparently you weren't in that line but were over in the other one for
pseudo-Christian self-righteous pomposity.

Talking about the creation of something from nothing. The creation of this

Life is chemistry. Wherever there is matter and energy there is
chemistry of somee kind. Complexity is not anything particularly
remarkable. Mathematically, INFINITE complexity results from a whole
array of simple iterations.

It's a shame you respond with insults when it's clear you have no idea

Then don't try to insult my intelligence with drivel. It's clear YOU
have no idea what you're blathering about and would rather hold the coats
of heretics and liars than actually learn about these things.
Whether life was "poofed" into existence by a deity or arose from the
natural laws of physics and chemistry in operation on a small planet
circling a G-type star in a relatively benign zone in one galaxy among
billions is irrelevant when it comes to the scientific question of
whether life is evolving NOW by means of mutation and natural selection
and whether, in the past, humans and chimps share a common ancestral gene
pool. All these FACTS can be determined by examining things in the REAL
WORLD, not your imaginary world of rhetorical magicks (and watch it with
the magicks, son, they can come back and bite you)...

I wish you well.

I'm not sure I actually believe you. Your behaviour would indicate
otherwise...
But *I* do wish you would examine your conscience with a little more
objectivity and stop holding the coats of excommunicate liars.

a Ford came first before it takes 30 million years to evolve into a

And besides smashing upside down just might create a new

Here's an ever-growing sample of people present and past with PhD's who have
accepted the Biblical account of creation. Showing how education actually
leads people to God.
Are there people with PhDs who do not support creation by God? Of course
there are. But don't let them tell you hardly anyone with an education would
believe in God and creationism. Here is just a sampling of people out there
who do just that.
http://www.answersingenesis.org/home/area/bios/
Some modern scientists who have accepted the biblical account of creation
Dr. Paul Ackerman, Psychologist
Dr. E. Theo Agard, Medical Physics
Dr. James Allan, Geneticist
Dr. Steve Austin, Geologist
Dr. S.E. Aw, Biochemist
Dr. Thomas Barnes, Physicist

No, trying to wave the magic "time" wand makes you
sound stupid.

The only people who reject it are idiots like you. Proof positive
that religion rots the brain like crack cocaine.

Here's an ever-growing sample of people present and past with PhD's who
have accepted the Biblical account of creation. Showing how education
actually leads people to God.

Having a Ph.D does not make you an expert in evolutionary theory. Most of
the people on this list are not biologists.
BTW - How many Steve's do you have? Here are 816 scientists with degrees and
named Steve (or a variation thereof) that support evolutionary theory. Note
how many of them are actually BIOLOGISTS.
http://www.ncseweb.org/resources/articles/3697_the_list_2_16_2003.asp

Are there people with PhDs who do not support creation by God? Of course
there are. But don't let them tell you hardly anyone with an education
would
believe in God and creationism. Here is just a sampling of people out
there
who do just that.

No, having a GOOD education and THINKING will lead you to discard
creationism and most fundamentalist dogma.
I see the errors still remain:

Dr. Saami Shaibani, Forensic physicist

"Any claim by Mr. Shaibani that he is now a member of, or even affiliated
with, the Temple University Department of Physics is fraudulent," read a
Sept. 27, 2001, letter from Edward Gawlinski, chair of the Temple University
physics department. "Furthermore, at least once a year I have to write this
sort of letter when Mr. Shaibani again tries to establish his bona fides as
an expert witness by claiming he is a member of the Physics Department."
http://www.courttv.com/trials/novelist/092603_ctv.html

Dr. Harold Slusher, Geophysicist

Slusher claims to hold an honorary D.Sc. from Indiana Christian University
and a Ph.D. in geophysics from Columbia Pacific University. Robert
Schadewald discovered that Indiana Christian University is a Bible College
with only a 1/2 man graduate science department. As for Columbia Pacific, it
"exhibits several qualities of a degree mill" [Steve Levikoff, Name It and
Frame It? New Opportunities in Adult Education and How to Avoid Being Ripped
Off by 'Christian' Degree Mills, 4th ed. (1995)]. Ronald Numbers describes
CPU as
an unaccredited correspondence school that recruited students with the
lure of a degree "in less than a year." Slusher's dissertation consisted of
a manila folder containing copies of five memographed ICR "technical
monographs" and a copy of the ICR graduate school catalog, all held together
with a rubber band. The supervising professor was his creationist colleague
from El Paso and the ICR, [Thomas] Barnes, who himself possessed only an
honorary doctorate. [Ronald Numbers, The Creationists: The Evolution of
Scientific Creationism (University of California Press, Berkeley, 1991)]
According to Bears' Guide [John B. Bear and Mariah P. Bear, Bears' Guide to
Earning College Degrees Nontraditionally (C&B Publishing, Benicia,
California 1997)], Columbia Pacific was denied its application for state
license renewal in early 1996 for undisclosed reasons. The university
appealed the decision in late 1996, but the appeal had not been acted upon
by the time Bears' Guide went to press.

How many religious people accepted evolution as they
obtained more education? I would bet it's FAR more than
your paltry list.

Elijahovah <rschiller@wi.rr.com> spoke thusly:

OF COURSE NOT, you make us evolutionists sound stupid

No, trying to wave the magic "time" wand makes you
sound stupid.

The only people who reject it are idiots like you. Proof positive
that religion rots the brain like crack cocaine.

Here's an ever-growing sample of people present and past with PhD's who
have accepted the Biblical account of creation. Showing how education
actually leads people to God.

How many religious people accepted evolution as they obtained more
education? I would bet it's FAR more than your paltry list.

The point of this list was told to you:
I said: "But don't let them tell you hardly anyone with an education would
believe in God and creationism." Many people with PhD's completely reject
evolution. My point proven. Many people reject evolution _because_ of
education. And I back this up with proof, much unlike evolutionists.
Now, rather than betting, just like you're "betting" your evolution religion
is true, and avoiding actually providing proof, much like many (not all)
atheists do while arguing about their religion of evolution, why don't you
back up your wishful thinking by showing such a list. At least then you'd
show yourself worth listening to as you're not just providing wishful
thinking.
It doesn't prove anything either way, but at least you'd finally show
yourself willing to stop just "betting" on your religion, and at least
trying to provide actual proof, rather than just the _belief_ that you have
actual
proof.

Are there people with PhDs who do not support creation by God? Of course
there are. But don't let them tell you hardly anyone with an education
would
believe in God and creationism. Here is just a sampling of people out
there
who do just that.
