Prayer for more believers in free.christians. |
Dear Lord I want to thank you for bringing in Vera, and a few other
believers lately to free.christians. Its very obvious and you also know
Lord than the group free.christians is heavily under attack by Atheists,
and cults. Although the atheists and this one man cult do not always
agree, its obvious they both are on the same side. I feel so sorry for
this one man cult man, because he urines so much for the truth, but will
not find it because he rejects Jesus as God, and denies the holy
trinity. I pray for him, and I pray that he will leave his cult and be
saved. He continues to attack me, and I pray for the wisdom to be quick
to listen, slow to speak and slow to respond (James 1:19). Such
behaviors are not encouraged in the corrupt culture we live in today and
can even hurt ones career.
Lord I pray for more believers to come to the board free.christians. I
pray for Jason Gastrichs, I pray for Bible John's, I pray for John
Weatherly's, I pray for more Veras and I pray for more Uncle Davey's to
enter this board.

Actually, you did not spam because you did not post an unsolicited
commercial advertisement and all the groups in the address line are
religious groups so your request was not off topic.
I got an idea. Why don't you leave free.christians and go over to the
baptist group. They would love to have you over there. Just make
sure not to put free.christians in the newsgroups line so we don't
have to see how you are treated there once they get to know you.
In fact I have a mission for you. No one is using
alt.politics.religion. You could go there and post your little heart
away and maybe build it into a thriving group. You could also start a
ministry on alt.recovery.religion and turn it into a thriving group.
Just think, you go in there and change the FAQ to say what you want it
to say. Make all kinds of rules and you could whine at those that
break the rules and you would be happy and everyone in the

regularly. If you, Bob, are posting from free.christians, then you

Yea, but you guys don't talk about anything important anyway. So
what's the harm of good ole John coming to live in your house. Aren't
you guys loving Christians over there in the Baptist Group? Aren't

Say what you want about Weatherly, he at least tries to help people.
I can't think of one post where I have seen you contribute anything
helpful to anyone. For the most part your posts are skeeters. I have
seen several posts from Weatherly that contained valuable information.
He contributes. You do not contribute. I will take a Weatherly over
you any day. I like Scout and Elaine, too. They seem not to get
along to well with Weatherly; but what the heck its a big family. At
least they contribute. You don't contribute.
Hey Don. Do you know anything? You love to criticize and make false
judgements. Why don't you show us what you know? Post something that
we can learn something from.
I started out as a Baptist and it was the Baptist church that taught
me to respect and learns the Word. If you are a Baptist you should
know something that would help people. Show us a little something
what you have learned.

I have noticed that. Every time I post some self righteous person
posts an arrogant response to me. It is usually that Don character
who tries to show off in front of his friends. You know, the guy who
never contributes anything because he is void of spiritial
understanding and so as his parasitical nature demands he hitches a
ride on the apron strings of real believers. All this dangling from
apron strings attached to real believers causes Don's lips to come in
frequesnt contact with the hind side of those he is clinging to for
dear life. I think that is why no believer has had to tell Don to
kiss their butts. I personally find it distracting, annoying, and
embarrassing having your lips so close to my backside which is why I
always swat you away. Stop being a parasite and stop being a wannabe

That statement was so godly I might have shouted hallelujah if you
weren't motivated by the wrong god. Where do you get off being mean
to a person for a physical disability? The medical professionals and
the government have made a legal determination that Weatherly is
disabled and to poke fun at him for being disabled is cruel and only a
person who lacks any sense of decency would do so.

Actually, it's quite easy to respect a Christian who at least shows
respect for his or her own belief system and for that of others. You
don't fall into that category, and that's no one's fault but your own.

for the truth! Today you can get fired or have legal action
against you for being a christian...
Is that so? Where has this ever happened? What kind of "legal action"
can be taken against someone "for being a Christian?" Be specific.

In the days when Christianity held temporal rule, it was quite common
for people holding religious differences with the theocracy to be put
to death--pagans, Jews, even other Christians. In the end, it's a
human thing, since some secular societies have done that and continue
to do that, but Christianity as we know it today is no shining light of
civilization. Its record as the focus of a theocracy is every bit as
bloody.

That's easy. The Christians are so busy cutting each other's throats,
they don't have time to keep watch over and a foot on the neck of
atheists.
If I were running the country things would be different. Yes, Sir,
they sure would. I would make every Christian carry a roll of duct
tape and a feather - the duct tape to put over the atheist's mouth and
the feather to tickle him. After a length of time I would have them
remove the duct tape and record their cries and promises to God. Then
all nthe atheists would be rounded up and made to listen to the tapes
so that they could all learn that when the going gets tough atheists
turn to God.
Okay, now that I look like a big important big shot to the Christians
who want to trample on atheist rights; I was only kidding.
Today at church we had a guy stand up and pray about the guy that's
been nominated for the Supreme Court. His prayer was more of an
election speech for the guy until he got to a part where he said
something about the guy was wrong for standing up for some kind of gay
rights issue in Colorado. I wanted to slap him silly because the guy
I took to church with me this morning is gay and his brother is dieing
of full blown aids in a hospital up in Deleware. His whiole family is
up there except him because he can't afford to take off from his new
job to go.
Thank God that they guy was really blessed by the Pastor's sermon and
the fellowship with all the other people that were there. He
commented on how great it was that the Word was made easy to
understand and that everybody was so friendly, undemanding,
unreligious, and that no one asked for money. He had tried to borrow
a dollar to put in the offering plate and had felt guilty about not
having anything to give. He didn't even mention the guy but I did
notice that the two of them were talking and smiling in the hallway.
Here is a guy that I know loves God because I see it in his life
everyday. He is a man that works hard is always kind and gentle to
people and tries to do the right things in life and then some guy that
has been around for years and years opens his mouth without thinking
and puts down a class of people for political reasons in a church
meeting where people come to be edified. I swear, it is really hard
to figure people out some times.

violated James 1:19 in the chant you offered to your false god. Yep,
you know all about urinating on the truth because you just did it.
You urinated on the slow to speak part and you urinated on the slow to
respond part.
