Jesus speaking to the self righteous :
" For John came to you in the way of righteousness and you did not
believe him; but the tax-gatherers and harlots did believe him; and
you, seeing this, did not even feel remorse afterward so as to believe
him." Mat 21:32
the Atheist and God hater alike have outsmarted themselves. their
minds may have been a terrible thing to waist on such outdated trivia
as they smartly conclude is the fault of the Word of God, but
selecting the way of arrogance with pride have long ago been
addressed... Jesus speaking :
" At that very time He rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and said,
" I praise Thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that Thou didst
hide these things from the wise and intelligent and didst reveal them
to babes. Yes, Father, for thus it was well-pleasing in Thy sight. " "
Luk 10:21
the Atheist and God hater seek a worldly wisdom which never
satisfies.. so they must keep on looking... tomorrow will be just like
today... and tomorrow again.
their arrogance with pride keeps them a far off. they count
themselves unworthy to receive eternal life. Acts 13:46
however, God rather seeks those of contrite spirit...
" Thus says the LORD, "Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My
footstool. Where then is a house you could build for Me? And where is
a place that I may rest?
"For My hand made all these things, Thus all these things came into
being," declares the LORD. "But to this one I will look, To him who is
humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word."
