Why does such suffering abound?

Existance of apparent "evil" does not disprove god(s) since it can
easily be explained away by postulating incomplete understanding on
our part. If you ask a kid, he may say that forcing him to eat veggies
is great injustice, or even torture. Presumably, god's knowledge and
viewpoint would be even more complex and incomprehensible than a
parent's to a kid. Not only that, but if you assume everybody and
everything owes its existance to god, it becomes meaningless to hold
it responsible for apparent suffering. In conclusion, argument evil
cannot really convince believers and is a waste of effort.

You cross-posted your reply to a pond group. Do you keep fish or have an
aquarium in your home? Do you have a pond? If so, we would love to hear
about them. If not, then please remove the "rec.ponds" NG from your replies
to this cross-posted thread. Our fish are nonsectarian. :-)
Thanks
Meanwhile here are the FAQ's for your perusal.

With this, I would have removed your newsgroup, but it appears that you
already did.
