Is the first chapter in the 12th chapter of the Book of Daniel, when
it mentions the "time of trouble" speaking of a future event?

And is it the same as the Great Tribulation era Jesus mentions in
Matt 24:21? I'll wait for your answers...

Hello,
Da 12:1 reads:
"And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which
standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of
trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same
time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that
shall be found written in the book." (KJV)
Of course that was future to Daniel's day, but what about our day?
Yes, it is future to our day also. That "time of trouble" is yet
future. And as you alluded to above, Jesus referred to it at Mt 24:21,
"for then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred
since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall."
Some say this was referring to the fall of Jerusalem that occurred in
70 A.D. But this can't be because Da 12:2 shows the next thing that
would happen right after that "time of trouble":
2. "And many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake,
these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting
contempt."
Obviously those many "in the dust of the ground" have not experienced
their judgement yet. (see also Ac 24:15) So that time is still future.
Sincerely, James

Hello,

Jesus is the Deliverer, is He also the Michael?

Of course that was future to Daniel's day, but what about our day?
Yes, it is future to our day also. That "time of trouble" is yet
future. And as you alluded to above, Jesus referred to it at Mt 24:21,

The time of trouble surely was from the time of Jesus Crucifixion to today.
But do not mix that with the Tribulation nor the Great Tribulation please.

"for then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred
since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall."

The Great Tribulation also had it time line in History just as Scripture
told it would.

Some say this was referring to the fall of Jerusalem that occurred in
70 A.D. But this can't be because Da 12:2 shows the next thing that

Oh Let the Spirit tell you who they are;
We slept in the ground as dust of the earth when Jesus was salking arond.
WE ALL COME FROM THE GROUND.
Was it talking about all the future people that would be born in the
future of when it was stated, or when it was prophesied?
Yes it was and here we are!

Obviously those many "in the dust of the ground" have not experienced
their judgement yet. (see also Ac 24:15) So that time is still future.

You were sleeping in the dust of the ground when it was being prophesied
like 2,000 years ago werent you?
And Yes it is still Future for those not born yet.
Wow it is a new revelation for me PTL Jesus is still talking to me.
M,

Sincerely, James
