I guess a note in my mind is that Robbers traditionally are violent people
doing whatever it takes to over power another, often knocking them out, or
tying them up so they can ransack... Robbing as compated to theiving. Where
one is done in the presene of the owners, the other in their absence.
The caravans were tradtionally the Robbers, and in Australia we had the Bush
Rangers... I am not familiar with what other places had, though Highway Man
rings a bell in Austalia and from the English.
Armed Robbery is the charge, and not armed theivery. ;-)
How about the wolves in Sheep's clothing?
They Rob by flattery and lead the sheep to the slaughter.

I have and am wondering if the errors you find are deliberate...not on
Daniel part but on the part of those that wrote the history. As most of
the
history comes from the Jews themselves........did they try to establish
the
vision to exalt themselves?
Did they" rob" the people of true history?
I am trying to find where in history this verse fits. Maccabees revolt is
the obvious one but........
