Re: All trees yielding fruit are safe?
Genesis 1:29 (ASV)
And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which
is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the
fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food:
Hello,
Yes, at that time in the garden of Eden, all the trees that God had
planted in that garden were safe to eat, since God is "just and
upright". (De 32:4) But after God's sovereignty and ways were
challenged that day, God has permitted challenges to His ways is order
to prove that man cannot live successfully without God. Jer 10:23,
"I know, O LORD, that a man's life is not his own; it is not for man
to direct his steps." (NIV)
Thus, the food things (and many other things) have changed since then,
so today humans have to be careful of what they eat, until God takes
full control over human affairs agains. (Mt 6:10)
Sincerely, James
