That sounds like a good idea. But on the other hand there are so many rude
and crude people that love to call names and print cuss words and the like
what is the use to start another group to have more of the same on yet
another posting groups? But I do like the idea if people would just state
what they believe and let it go at that and not print all kinds of
foolishness etc.

Hi everybody,

Would anybody like a place to post messages about the Bible's
inerrancy? How about a place that's moderated by a Christian
minister?

There are a couple of newsgroups regarding biblical issues, but some
of them seem to take a quick turn for the worse. People make personal
attacks and neglect scholarly, respectful debate. Some people curse,
call other people names and chase people away from talking about the
Bible.

If you've spent some time on religious newsgroups, you'll notice that
there are intermittent messages about biblical contradictions, Bible
errors, Bible difficulties, copyist errors, etc. Wouldn't it be nice
to have all of those in one place? We could keep the current
newsgroups as they are and have a healthy and exciting place for
discussing biblical inerrancy!

I've proposed the alt.bible.inerrancy newsgroup on alt.config. If
you're interested in supporting the idea and visiting the newsgroup to
post messages, please come and say so!

God bless,

Hi Jim,
Thanks for your input.
The CHARTER/JUSTIFICATION for alt.bible.inerrancy has been improving, lately.
I've gotten some excellent feedback from alt.config.
The proposal states that this group will be moderated. Therefore, there won't
be any rule breaking, spam, swearing, etc. It will be a genuine place for
scholarly debate/chatting.
I'm curious why someone hasn't created alt.theism. I see alt.atheism. Any
ideas?
God bless,
Jason
