I think I can agree with everything here.

I think it to be quite common for young Christians growing in their
awareness of the Truth, to get a little 'drunk' on it and start looking

comparing and condemning and then even demonizing. We have all been
spiritually abused by the adverary and once we are no longer under his
thumb, we want to "strike back" to confirm that we have indeed tasted the
Truth and have been set free.
Yet on this point he claims some back who substitute their humility for
pride.
I think it is a process like that seen in young adults when the come home
from college or univeristy, repleat in their "knowledge". They are up and
they are coming, and they have a handle on all things. Quickly, conquer

the

world before you realize that you really don't know all things!
I know quite a few young adults in which this mindset prevails up until

life

teaches them a few lessons in humility and reminds them just how much they
don't know! Hopefully they won't hurt themselves before this lesson is
learned.

Keep on "ramblin' " Griz, we love you for it. I had an interesting
doctrinal conundrum lately and I am stumped. In a Bible study with an
unfamiliar group, the leader was reading Christ's words: "If you love me you
will follow my commandments" etc. when he was constantly being interupted by
a conservative Baptist group. Inquiring why they would not listen to Christ,
they replied: Christ was talking to his fellow Jews, not to Gentiles. We are
gentiles who are not saved by following Christ's commandments, but by His
shed blood, therefore we need not concern ourselves with Christ's words nor
any commandments.
I was stunned to say the least, yet could find no argument against this.
Being aware of this mind-set now, I see a lot of Christians sharing that
opinion and that is why so many pay no heed to Christ major commandments,
i.e. the Royal Law and Golden Rule below. (I mean the way we talk about and
treat Muslims in particular). Come to think of it, I have never heard any
preacher even touch upon this, let alone preach a sermon on it. Are such
people saved, or are they among the group who will hear the dreadful words:
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall
enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father
which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not
prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy
name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never
knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Jesus in Mt:7:21-23:

Christ endorse killing anyone for any reason.

Except when He commands us to continually obey those commandments that
require killing (Matthew 5:17-19) and when he says that anyone who
rejects those Commandments is not saved even if they call upon His
Name (Matthew 7:21-23).

We even are commanded to
love our enemies, for God is our Father which is in Heaven, our Abba, Daddy,
who wishes that no harm should come to any of His children and that all
should come to repentance and be saved (2Pt:3:9).

And yet Jesus Himself will send Angels to destroy and kill those who
reject the OT Commandments and adopt babylonian customs (Rev 18).

Had the Jews faith in their Theology, they would have converted the
natives of Israel, instead of "killing all that breatheth", keeping alive
only little girls to "do with as you please" (Moses in Numbers 31:17-18).

The Jews had faith in their GOD; they had no need for man-made
