The problem nowadays is that the extremely dangerous silliness tends to
come from the leftist positions, but the seriousness of the rightwing
needs to be better balanced than the incredibly cartoonish leftwing.

Excuse me??? The "seriousness" of the rightwing? You guys have Ann
Coulter, Bill O'Really, Rush Windbag, and Pat Robertson. I'm sorry,
but you can't get any more "incredibly cartoonish" than those clowns.

So, instead of helping the leftwing, the left wing cartoon characters
(those who need to get psychiatric treatment for the Kerry loss, or those
who throw tantrums like spoiled children, claiming that they are going
to leave the nation because they aren't getting 'their way') are doing
more
damage against their position than many of the right wingers.

Many of us *are* trying to help the leftwing--we're trying to help
*each other*, which is a lot more than I can say about the
self-serving, self-promoting Repugs running the show these days.
Right-wingers are the hugest whiners and the sorest winners--not only
do they insist on rubbing it in our faces that "they won"; they also
are whining even in their victories! Did you happen to catch that
ridiculous "pray-in" on behalf of the Religious Right when Arlen
Specter, a pro-choice Republican, was appointed to the Judicial
Chairperson slot?

Mind you, Kerry losing the election was about worlds more to us than
"getting our way"; it was about losing the chance to a) restore some
sanity, forethought, and intelligence to the White House; b) restore
our terribly fractured international relations--which I guarantee you
will hurt us horribly the next time we get attacked by the terrorists
or anyone else; and c) salvage our failing economy and ballooning
deficit from an administration that is proving itself to be
financially IRresponsible and destructive to everyone except their
insulated-from-all-consequences selves. And d) not to mention salvage
the Earth and our future from the Orwellian policies that are "Clean
Skies", "More Trees", and "No Child Left Behind".

The lack of emotional maturity from the left (the tantrums) helps to
remove
all credibility of the leftist viewpoint based upon personal integrity
and
wisdom. Alas, such leftist emotional cripples have very little ability
to form a coherent argument anyway.

Are you out of your mind??? Again, those loudmouthed pundits on the
Right are the hugest crybabies and whiners our country has ever
seen--don't tell me that you guys would be screaming bloody murder if
Kerry had edged his way into office. You guys would be DEMANDING
recount in every last state to "prove" that the election was rigged
Kerry's way. You already had made life hell for Clinton when the
Repubs took over Congress; you would have made it hell for Kerry as
well by your vitriolic whining and hypocritical blathering about
"moral values". Isn't that ironic?
