The counterpoints I wish to make and will continue to make aren't directed
at the irrational Steve Winter but the rational newbies who arrive on Usenet
newsgroups regularly.
A supervisor of mine told me that Steve Winter called him a couple of times
trying to get me fired (Steve failed BTW). After viewing Steve Winter's
rantings, my supervisor said, "You can't rationalize with an irrational
individual like that." Apparently Steve Winter got beligerant on the phone
with my supervisor upon finding out he refused to fire me on Winter's false
allegations. This occured over 10-15 years ago.

Wow. You're now the second person I know of to whom Steve Winter did
this. Stephen Adams was another.
Profound hypocrisy for someone who runs to the police to file a
complaint every time someone emails him, calls him, or sends him snail mail.
