Estimates are that only six (SIX) percent of all possible fossils have
been found world-wide.....the Smithsonian's collection is only a
fraction of the world's collection. Second, a transitional form HAS
been recently found. Miraculous considering how few fossils have yet
been discovered. I personally have discovered three sites which
deserve investigation, but the money isn't available to professionals
to do so (I am an amateur).

Third, fossils are found in a variety of original locales. Some
fossils are found embedded in sand - not sea or beach sand - but desert
sand. They did not drown. Others are found in forested areas....none
drowned. Some are found in limestone and are sea life. They did not
drown as they lived in water. Have you been to the Grand Canyon? The
one which is mile deep in areas? Fossils are not concentrated in one
flood-caused layer of rock... fossils can be found in many different
layers going the depth of the canyon.

Which leads to the dating of fossils. Geology studies this marvelous
gift which we call Earth. They learn about the Earth and how it
changes...ever so slowly. By studying how things work today, they can
project those processes into the past... starting with the top layer
that we see today and then working down layer by layer. The Grand
Canyon is a marvelous textbook of geology and how it works. By
examining each individual layer of rock, geologists can date (usually
within a few thousand years) how old each layer is. Fossils are found
in layers which pre-date the biblical flood.... often by multi-millions
of years.

I am certain you will not accept a single word of my explanation; you
have decided what you believe and that is that. My hope is that you
are not passing such obvious nonsense onto children, and that someone
who reads your silliness and my reply will begin to use their god-given
brain and realize how very very archaic you and your beliefs are.

There will always be those who hate God

No one - absolutely NO ONE hates god. Atheists do not as they have no
belief in such things as deities and it is impossible to hate that
which does not exist. No, I am not an atheist. People of other
religions rarely hate your god as they are busy with their own. Jews
and Arabs have the same god you do... only different names for the same
entity. You hold to the idea that someone HAS to hate your god so that
you have someone to whom you can feel superior. That is sad.

and want to fool ignorant people
into thinking that they are animals

We are animals - with souls.

and that God's Word, the Bible is not true.

Much - not all - of it is not true. It was written by men and no
matter how inspired they are claimed to be or you claim them to be,
they are men. If any way exists to mistranslate, miscopy, add extras,
omit items,etc. they have used it.

However, there are also always going to be God's own people who
know the truth (John 14:6).

An ever shrinking number. Since we have no dinosaurs to question,
perhaps you could tell us how it feels to be facing extinction?

Regardless of the reasons, the fossil record does not contain the
quantity of transitional fossils necessary to prove that theory of
evolution that men have come up with to explain the origin of life.
Even Darwin had problems with that. He said,

"The distinctness of specific forms and their not being blended
together by innumerable transitional links, is a very obvious
difficulty." (Origin of Species, 1902, Part 2, p. 54).

And it is still an "obvious difficulty".

Also, the intricate structure of many life forms strongly points to a
mind at work. Take for example, the common house fly. The built-in
aerodynamic equations needed for it to perform its marvelous
acrobatics is amazing to say the least. (as we well know when we try
to swat one) I have seen on TV scientists try creating tiny flying
machines, but they haven't' come close to mimicking a simple fly. And
these are great minds at work!

But yet, people insist that the fly came into existence just as a
result of mindless forces over time, and building within it all the
complex aeronautical maneuvering it is capable of. Sorry, many
reasoning people just cannot accept that line of thinking.

And one more thing to consider. True, no human today can say that he
or she saw God create a fly. But the opposite is true. No human today
can say that they witnessed the mindless forces day by day making of a
fly (watching it go through ALL of its transitions) until it reached
its present form. Thus we ALL must go by circumstantial evidence,
rather than a DIRECT OBSERVATION of the complete event. So FAITH is
needed on both sides that certain past events happened to produce the
final results we see today.

For me, since the fossil evidence (sudden emergence of complete life
forms) is closer to the Bible that the evolutionary theory, so I don't
believe it is unscientific to go by that fossil record to support the
Bible's account of the origin of life. I have always seen the Bible to
be in complete harmony with true science, and that is still the case
here.
