After going to several different churches over several years I must
confess that I'm a little leary of 'organized' religion. Most do not

How come you don't tell us what you are talking about? It's a tiresome
atheist tactic to denounce all of "organized" Christianity wholesale,
without listing even one fact with example and explanation.
