Why is eternal punishment an act of love when your bible says to forgive?
Because your ever-loving Father which is in heaven, will not force you
into His heaven against your will. You MUST WANT to go to heaven, in
order to go there. As you can see from these posts here, there are lots who
prefere Satan's company and go where all their friends are.

In *my* case my mother asked a fireman to come by and talk to us. He caught
us in the act, talked of the danger and I never did it again.
Your god would have set me on fire and fan the flames for all eternity.
