Couldn't "rising" means the rise of military might and power,
"changing" means the changes of the people's daily living conditions?
the changes in the country side? the changes in the cities structures
and buildings?

There aren't enough natural resources in the world for everyone in

During the 15th -16th centuries , Chinese Imperial family had higher
standard of living than most of the European Royalties,
the Holy Emperors of the German Holy Roman Empire were not as
powerful ,
or as advance as the Ming Emperors in technologies and in
administration .

There might be, China could enjoy a standard of living that is
comparable, but they could not use the resources in the same way.
Western Europe and Japan are roughly comparable to the US but don't use
nearly the same level of resources.

Too bad you don't know what you are talking about.
Visit China. Live with the people. See what stuff costs there. You might
just want to move there.

I predict that America's percent of world GDP will decline as China
will eventually Surpass the USA. China will be far more efficient in
its use of energy, where few will own SUV's like they do in the USA.
With the aging population in the USA and huge deficits, the USA will
not be the big consumer of natural resources they once were.
