that certain metaphysical beliefs concerning nature of God and of
Christ are necessary (but, at least according to some interpretations,
not sufficient) to get saved.
Instead, you seem to be saying that good works, regardless of
metaphysical beliefs, is what is import. Sounds perfectly reasonable
to me, but very untypical of Christian doctrine, n'est pas?
That may appear so, but no one who does good for his own glory will be
saved, for the Kingdom of heaven is occupied solely by repentant sinners,
none considering themselves good people, nor the perfect, nor even the very
paragons of virtue need apply.
Btw you forgot to specify your secular criteria for "good works". Do you
think the fashionable opinions of friends, family etc. etc. is
sufficiently authoritative criteria by which to judge? We believe not, and
prefer Biblical criteria which have withstood the test of time.

Ah, is that why you claim to be a Christian, Pastor Frank the
Documented Liar? You're not a good person, clearly. You're a known
liar. You insult others over your own mistakes, and you absolutely
refuse to apologize for your transgressions, even when irrefutable
proof of your lies and false accusations are presented.
