I think you might have the word "mystic" confused with the word
"occult."
Most who attack us, DO confuse the two words, even think them to be the same
thing.
BTW, I think you mean *Occult (Satan worship)*, because the words occult,
and mysticism do share much the same meanings
Or at least with the common use age for the word, rather
than its actual meaning.
Mystic: 1 a : having a spiritual meaning or reality that is neither
apparent to the senses nor obvious to the intelligence <the mystical
food of the sacrament> b : involving or having the nature of an
individual's direct subjective communion with God or ultimate reality
Occult: to shut off from view or exposure.
I like the dictionary that you are using
I know very well what a "Christian Mystic" is.
ROFWL, you don't know beans about the topic matter.
And it isn't as you portray.
It sure isn't what you want to believe that it is.
Readers, *Mysticism* is like *Fundamentalism*, it has a wide variety of
belief systems, found in many religions. What Pastor Dave and others do with
the word "Mysticism" is much like saying that *Fundamentalists* are Moslem
fanatics (some are), but some are also Christians !!!
(BTW some Moslem mystics are known as the "Sufi", and some Jewish mystics as
Kabalists, etc)
We come in a very wide variety.

True.

I used the word I intended. Whether "Occult" or "occult" it's the
same word. It's like the word "gay." They didn't call the 'Gay '90s"
gay because there was a homosexual revolution, but because people were
happy and excited. Like the word "*****." In needlework it means
binding two like pieces of material together with thread, but because
of our current culture, as it is with occult.
Or at least with the common use age for the word, rather
than its actual meaning.

Many Christians aren't aware of the strong mysticism in Christianity
historically.
