Yesterday I was told that clouds are a sign of God's Holy Spirit. Can
anyone enlighten me about this. I ask because cloud formation has
always moved me in a spiritual way - I know all about the science, but
the divine beauty of clouds certainly lifts ones spirit. Thanks in
anticipation.

All of God's creation are marvelous. As the Psalmist puts it at Ps
111:2,
"Great are the works of the LORD; they are pondered by all who delight
in them. " (NIV)
Yes clouds are one of those marvels. But you may here different
adjectives used by those who have have experienced clouds as from
hurricanes etc. Thus are 'clouds a sign of the Holy Spirit"? It
probably depends upon who you ask, such as recipients of ominous
clouds such as those that produce hurricanes, or from those enjoying
serene ones.
Genuine Christians go by the Bible. Yes, in times past God used serene
clouds in connection with His Holy Spirit. (such as the cloud that was
over ark of the covenant- Le 16:2) But I am not aware that God is
using such things today like He did back then. Rather, we can enjoy
such serene meteorological phenomena when they are around, but need to
take cover when the ominous ones appear!

Yes, they are all magical. You should kneel down and pray whenever you
see a cloud. It is surely a sign from heaven.
