"dis-asters" and that "di" is related to light and dark...

It also denotes left-handed, which is the opposite of the one who
sits at the "right hand" of God. The old "devil on the left shoulder
and angel on the right" scenario... I wonder if Snidely Whiplash is
more evil than Simon Bar Sinister? Any idea?
