Egg Evolution
If you had an egg for breakfast you probably noticed a few of its
characteristics. The amniotic egg would have required many different
inovations if it evolved along with the creature:
1. Shell as compared to a soft membrane.
2. The two new membranes-the amnion and allantois.
3. Excreation of ater-insoluble uric acid rather than urea(urea would
poison the embryo).
4. Albumen together with a special acid to yield its water.
5. Youk for food.
6. A change in the genital system allowing the fertilization of the egg
before the shell hardens.
Not only is the evolution over long periods of time impossible it is
unbelievable to anyone who knows that all the above must be in place for
the egg to function at all. The religion of evolution only requires one
to swallow the "just-so stories" of chance and accident on faith alone.
This is true if what existed before the avian egg was a nothing. But
birds didn't evolve from a nothing, they evolved from a something
and many of those something didn't have hard shelled eggs, or
require the genitals to perform coitus as chickens perform coitus.
The mistake of the anti-evolutionist is one of saying "Here is a chicken
and this chicken isn't a chicken unless these things are true. They can't
have all evolved together, therefore evolution is false." Except that
what evolution claims is not that there is a straight line from not-chicken
directly to chicken, but rather that there are evolutionary pathways
which lead from one point to the next, with various traits being picked
up along the way and being combined to produce what we know today
as a chicken.
